Sing a songWith the video, students to sing the song Thunder;2. Guessing game: Whats the weather like?To hide the most of every picture, ask students to guess what the weather is like with the sentence pattern Is it? Yes, it is. / No, it isnt. and then to spell the word. Take the first picture as an example:S1: Is it snowy?T: No, it isnt.S2: Is it rainy?T: Yes, it is. Can you spell the word?S2: R-a-i-n-y, rainy.3. Ask and answer1) What can you do when its windy?To elicit I can fly a kite2) When can we swim outside?With the key words given, students should try to rearrange them into a sentence: Its hot and sunny. The water is warm.Step 2: While-task presentation Activity 1:Background information introduction Present the text and ask several questions Q1: Whats this?A. Letter B. (Fill in blanks) Activity 2: Listen and repeatActivity 3: Read and finish the tableIn this process, the teacher should encourage students to underline the related information.Step 3: Post-task assignment Task 1: Retell the story Group work: 4 students in a group.
