Wehavecontinuedtheinternationalscopeofourreport,with

responsesfromdirectorsandriskmanagersin40countries

aroundtheworld.Aswithlastyear,thisreportcontains

sectionsonrisksforbusinesses,risksfordirectors,andvarious

directors'andofficers'liability(D&O)insurancecoverage

points.

Wewillbetakinganewapproachwithreportingonthesurveyresultsthisyear.

Ourinitialreportwillpresentthesurveyresultsandthenwewillbereleasinga

seriesofseparatearticlesonvarioustopicsinspiredbythesurveyresultsand

lookingatsomeofthesurveyresultsinmoredetail.Pleasecheckour

Weaddedafewnewtopicstothesurveythisyearandremovedsomethat

wethoughtwerenolongersorelevant.Cybercontinuestodominatethe

responses,withcybercrimeandhavingsufficientcyberexpertiseappearing

astoprisksinseveralregionsandacrossseveralindustries.Theimportance

ofclimatechangeasadirectorriskcontinuestofluctuate,goingdownin

importanceinsomeregionsandindustriesandsignificantlyupinothers.Itis

nowthenumberoneriskfordirectorsintheEnergyandUtilitiessector.Wealso

addedaquestionabouttheimportanceofhavingESGcoverageunderaD&O

policytooursurveyforthefirsttime,totryandreflecttheincreasingpublic

discussionaroundthistopic.However,onlyinAustralasiadidrespondents

considerthiswasinthetop7ofcoverageissues.

Wehopethisgivesyouaninterestingtasteroftheresultsfromthesurvey
