TheAdverbialClause狀語從句在復合句中修飾主句中的動詞、形容詞或副詞，起狀語作用的從句叫狀語從句。狀語從句可置主語之前，也可置主語之后。前置時，從句后用逗號與主句分開；后置時，與主句之間無標點符號。命題主要集中在引導狀語從句的連詞、狀語從句的時態(tài)等方面；從九大狀語從句來看，應將復習重點放在時間狀語從句、條件狀語從句、目的狀語從句、結果狀語從句和比較狀語從句上。TheAdverbialClause1.時間狀語從句

引導時間狀語從句的連詞有：while,when,as,assoonas,till,until,not…until,before,after,since,etc．1.時間狀語從句1）when，while，as①when可表動作同時發(fā)生或先后發(fā)生，從句動詞延續(xù)非延續(xù)都行。如：

Whenhefinishedthework,hehadalittlerest．

while表動作同時發(fā)生，從句動詞必須可延續(xù)。如：

Pleasekeepquietwhileshewassleeping．

as表動作同時發(fā)生；從句動詞延續(xù)非延續(xù)都行，常指一邊…一邊，as還可以說明兩種正發(fā)展或變化的情況，有“隨著”的意思，表時間的推移。如:Hesangashewentalong．

+and(or)+陳述句”在意思上相當于條件狀語從句。例如：
