I.Introduction
Thisreportaimstocomprehensivelysummarizetheimplementation,achievements,challenges,andfutureplansoftheEnglishthemededucationactivitiescarriedoutwithinacertainperiod.Englishthemededucationhasbeenanimportantpartofoureducationalinitiatives,aimingtoenhancestudents'Englishproficiency,cross-culturalcommunicationability,andinterestinEnglishlearning.
II.ImplementationofEnglishThemedEducation
A.CurriculumDesign
1.IntegratedCurriculum
WedevelopedanintegratedEnglishcurriculumthatcombineslanguageknowledge,skills,andculturalcontent.Forexample,inadditiontotraditionalgrammarandvocabularyteaching,weincorporatedtopicssuchasWesternfestivals,famousEnglish-speakingliteratureworks,andglobalcurrentevents.Thisnotonlyhelpsstudentsmasterlanguageskillsbutalsobroadenstheirculturalhorizons.
2.Project-basedLearning
Project-basedlearningwasintroducedintotheEnglishcurriculum.Studentswererequiredtocompletevariousprojects,suchascreatinganEnglish-languagepodcastaboutlocalculture,makingashortmoviewithEnglishdialogue,orconductinganEnglish-languagemarketresearch.Theseprojectsencouragedstudentstoapplywhattheyhadlearnedinreal-lifescenariosandpromotedteamworkandcreativity.

C.ExtracurricularActivities

AnEnglishcornerwassetuponcampus,whichwasheldtwiceaweek.NativeEnglishspeakerswereinvitedtoparticipate,creatingareal-languageenvironmentforstudents.DuringtheEnglishcorner,studentscouldfreelycommunicatewitheachotherandwiththenativespeakersaboutvarioustopics,suchashobbies,dreams,andtravelexperiences.
2.EnglishSpeechContestandDramaCompetition
WeorganizedanEnglishspeechcontestandadramacompetition.ThespeechcontestprovidedaplatformforstudentstoshowcasetheirEnglishspeakingskillsandexpresstheiruniqueideas.Thedramacompetition,ontheotherhand,allowedstudentstoimmersethemselvesinEnglish-languageperformance,deepeningtheirunderstandingofEnglishlanguageandculture.

Students'Englishtestscoresshowedasignificantimprovement.IntherecentregionalEnglishproficiencytest,theaveragescoreofourstudentsincreasedby10%comparedtothepreviousyear.Thepassingratealsorosefrom80%to90%,indicatingthatmorestudentshaveachievedasatisfactorylevelofEnglishproficiency.
2.EnhancedLanguageSkills

2.PositiveAttitude
Students'attitudetowardsEnglishlearninghaschangedfrompassiveacceptancetoactiveexploration.TheynolongerregardEnglishlearningasaburdenbutasaninterestingandrewardingexperience,whichisconducivetotheirlong-termEnglishlearning.

Englishthemededucationhasalsobroadenedstudents'globalperspective.Theyaremoreawareofinternationalissuesandareabletothinkfromaglobalperspective,whichisessentialfortheirfuturedevelopmentinanincreasinglyglobalizedworld.
IV.Challenges
1.UnevenStudentProgress
Althoughoverallstudentshavemadeprogress,thereisstillasignificantgapinEnglishproficiencyamongindividualstudents.Somestudentsmayhavedifficultykeepingupwiththeteachingprogressduetovariousreasons,suchasweaklanguagefoundationorlackoflearningmethods.
2.LimitedResources
Theavailabilityofteachingresources,especiallyauthenticEnglishteachingmaterialsandprofessionalEnglishteachingstaff,isstilllimited.ThismayaffectthequalityanddepthofEnglishthemededucationtosomeextent.
3.TimeManagement
BalancingEnglishthemededucationwiththeoverallcurriculumisachallenge.EnsuringthatstudentshaveenoughtimetoengageinEnglishlearningactivitieswithoutoverburdeningthemwithexcessiveworkloadisadelicatetask.
V.SolutionstoChallenges
