publishedtheCSRDEarlyAdoptersreport,featuring

75strongreportingexamples.Tocomplementthis,

wepublishedQualityMatters,offeringpractical

insightsandrecommendationstoaddresslong-standingdataqualityissuesanincreasinglyurgentpriorityasreportingvolumesgrowandinvestorexpectationsrise.

WealsoadvancedpracticaltoolstohelpcompaniesstrengthentheirESGreporting.InpartnershipwithInternationalFederationofAccountants(IFAC)andtheGlobalAccountingAlliance,welaunchedanewinternalcontrolsguidelinealignedwithCSRDand

ISSBrequirements,simplifyingimplementationandenhancingdataqualityandassuranceprocesses.

In2024,wedeepenedourworkonResponsiblePolicy

Engagementtosupportcompaniestoaligntheiradvocacywiththeirclimategoals.Asgovernmentsshapepoliciesthatwilldeterminethepaceoftheenergytransition,companieshaveacriticalroletoplayinsupportingpro-climate

regulation.DevelopedwithCeres,withinputfromover60companiesandNGOpartners,ourupdatedResponsiblePolicyEngagementframeworkequipsbusinesseswiththetools,standards,andcasestudiestheyneedtomeetrisingstakeholderexpectationsandunlocksustainablegrowth.

Tofurtherenableeffectiveandtransparentadvocacy,

welaunchedanewadvocacyreportingtemplate,

helpingcompaniestorespondtoinvestorandregulatoryexpectationswhileidentifyinghowengagementonclimatepolicysupportslong-termstrategyandcompetitiveness.

Withglobalprogressatacriticaljuncture,wecontinuetoworkwithbusinessestoprotectandadvancethepolicyfoundationsneededtobuildathrivingeconomy.

In2024,wecelebratedour10-yearanniversary,markingadecadeofmobilizingbusinesssupportforclimateaction.Tomarktheoccasion,weproducedathoughtleadership

seriesincludingpodcasts,articles,andeventsfeaturing

voicesfrombusiness,policy,andcivilsociety.Together,theysharedinsightsonhowtoacceleratethetransition,from

financingclimatesolutionsandengagingSMEsupplierstoadvancingnatureactionandclimateadvocacyaheadofCOP29.

Onnature,wepublishedanewanalysisfocusedon

acceleratingcorporateclimatefinancethroughthecarbonmarkets.Thisanalysisfoundthatalackofrecognitionandincentivization,coupledwithquestionsovercarbonmarketintegrityareholdingbackfinance.

Cereshelpedsecuresupportfrom18RepublicanlawmakerstodefendtheU.S.InflationReductionAct,whileCLG

EuropeplayedakeyroleinshapingtheEU’sproposed

2040climatetarget,mobilizingover100businessesanddirectlyinfluencingtheCommission.Tosustainmomentum,welaunchednewgrantsinearly2025totacklepolicyandmarketbarrierstocleanenergyacrossregionsandsectors.

Wesupportedpartnerstohelpreshapeindustriesand

acceleratethecleanenergytransition.RE100members

nowdemand545TWhofenergy,ofwhich53%isnow

renewable.ResponsibleSteelandSteelZerodroveprogressonstandardsandtransparency,withU.S.Steel’sBigRiverSteelbecomingtheworld’sfirstcertifiedResponsibleSteelproducer.

Tosupportwidersystemchange,welaunchedtheVoluntaryCarbonMarket(VCM)KnowledgeVaultasearchable,

always-updatedhubtohelpcompaniesnavigateamaturingcarbonmarketresponsibly.

WetookCOPadvocacytoanotherlevelbyrapidly

mobilizingbusinessvoicesbehindapushforambitious

climateoutcomesattheG20summit,happeningatthesametimeasCOP.

WealsodeliveredahighlyvisibleBusinessPavilionthatbecameacentralhubforbusinessactionatCOP,andhosted25in-personevents.

ThroughourWomenLeadingonClimateinitiative,

whichspotlightsfemalebusinessleadersdrivingclimateactionourCEOMariaMendiluceandformerCanadianEnvironmentMinisterCatherineMcKennadelivered

alettertoUNSecretary-GeneralAntonioGuterres,callingforboldleadershiptoacceleratethetransition.

OurSupplierCascadeinitiativecontinuedtoadvance

supplierengagementinpartnershipwithCeres,BSR,CDP,EnvironmentalDefenseFund,andExponentialRoadmapInitiative.Withourpartners,weprovidedtailored1:1
