Her birthday is on August 9th. 她的生日是8 月 9日。2.名詞所有格表

22、示“某人的”,通常是“名詞+ s”。二、序數(shù)詞1 .概念:表示事物的順序的數(shù)詞叫做序數(shù)詞,它的作用相當(dāng)于名詞或形容詞。2 .構(gòu)成:(1) 變異類:one- first 第一;two fsecond 第二;three third 第三。( 2)普通類:第四至第十九均在相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后加-th, 但第五(fifth )和第十二(twelfth )均把基數(shù)詞five和twelve詞尾的ve改為f,再加-th?;鶖?shù)詞eight的序數(shù)詞,直接在后加-h, 即eighth o基數(shù)詞nine的序數(shù)詞,將詞尾的e去掉,再加-th,即ninth。( 3)“ ty 類”:即以“ty ”結(jié)尾的整十的序數(shù)詞是把對(duì)應(yīng)基數(shù)

23、詞的最后一個(gè)字母y 變成 i,再加-eth。如:twentyf twentieth ; fortyffortieth( 4)幾十幾類:表示“幾十幾”的基數(shù)詞變序數(shù)詞時(shí),只將個(gè)位變成序數(shù)詞,十位數(shù)不變。如:twenty-three f twenty-third【注意】序數(shù)詞的前面往往加定冠詞the,但當(dāng)序數(shù)詞前有物主代詞、指示代詞等修飾時(shí),則不必加the。三、時(shí)間介詞on,in 與 at 辨析1.on 常用在表示星期幾或具體某一日及某一日的上午、下午或晚上的名詞前。如: on May 4th 在五月四日2.in 常用在年、月、季節(jié)、世紀(jì)及表示泛指上午、下午或晚上的名詞前。如: in March
