OOOO2.Listenandrepeataftertherecording.Checkwhetheryourmark-upsarecorrect.PronunciationPronunciation重音是英語口語中的常見現(xiàn)象,也是英語語音最顯著的特征。英語重音分為詞重音(wordstress)和語句重音(sentencestress),兩者是學習英語節(jié)奏的基礎。通常情況下,英語句子中需要重讀的詞包括:名詞(包括專有名詞)、動詞、形容詞、大多數(shù)副詞、數(shù)詞、動詞-ing形式、過去分詞、雙音節(jié)介詞、特殊疑問詞、指示代詞等,而不需要重讀的詞主要是冠詞、代詞、be動詞、單音節(jié)介詞、連詞、助詞、關系代詞和關系副詞等。不過,在某些情形下,為了表達特定的意義,一些通常無須重讀的詞也會出現(xiàn)重讀。例如:CarlainvitedMEtoherparty.(notYOU)CarlainvitedmetoHERparty.(notYOURparty)Pronunciation?名詞(Noun)在句中一般需重讀,如:An'elephantisan'animal.實詞重讀?形容詞(Adjective)在句中一般都有語句重音,如:The

例如:'OhJohn.Whatareyoudoingoverthere?Pronunciation虛詞不重讀?冠詞(Article)分為不定冠詞(a,an)及定冠詞(the),一般沒有語句重音。

?代詞(Pronoun)沒有語句重音的代詞一般指:

人稱代詞I,me,you,he,him,she,her,it,we,us,they,them等;物主代詞my,your,his,her,its,our,their等;關系代詞who,whose,that,which等。例如:Iamateacher.
