建筑專業(yè)英語(yǔ)課程教學(xué)大綱（ENGLISHFORPROFESSIONALPURPOSES）學(xué)時(shí)數(shù)：32學(xué)分?jǐn)?shù)：2適用專業(yè)：建筑學(xué)一．課程的性質(zhì)、目的和任務(wù)本課程為建筑學(xué)專業(yè)學(xué)生開(kāi)設(shè)，屬于學(xué)科基礎(chǔ)課程，在學(xué)科的整個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中，起著擴(kuò)大專業(yè)視野、增強(qiáng)查閱國(guó)外期刊書籍資料的能力和對(duì)于核心專業(yè)課程的內(nèi)容起著加深理解的作用。通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)，使學(xué)生能夠?qū)⒂⑽牡膶I(yè)文獻(xiàn)作為新的學(xué)習(xí)途徑，以了解本專業(yè)發(fā)展的新動(dòng)向，并且在專業(yè)方面具備初步的英文交流與溝通能力。本課程的任務(wù)是使學(xué)生在已學(xué)大學(xué)英語(yǔ)的基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行專業(yè)英語(yǔ)的學(xué)習(xí)。通過(guò)建筑學(xué)專業(yè)方面的英文材料的講解和分析，讓學(xué)生掌握主要的專業(yè)英語(yǔ)詞匯和常見(jiàn)用法，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生具有基本的口頭交流能力、較流暢的英語(yǔ)專業(yè)文獻(xiàn)閱讀能力、專業(yè)文獻(xiàn)的英譯中能力、聽(tīng)懂簡(jiǎn)單的專業(yè)報(bào)告和講座的能力以及簡(jiǎn)短的專業(yè)英語(yǔ)寫作的能力。通過(guò)本課程學(xué)習(xí)，亦使學(xué)生具有初步聽(tīng)懂雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)專業(yè)課程或由外教承擔(dān)的課程的能力。二．課程教學(xué)的基本要求了解專業(yè)英語(yǔ)的使用概況，專業(yè)英語(yǔ)與一般英語(yǔ)的區(qū)別。理解專業(yè)英語(yǔ)常用文章、句子和段落結(jié)構(gòu)，掌握專業(yè)英語(yǔ)閱讀方法和專業(yè)英語(yǔ)閱讀技巧。初步掌握專業(yè)英語(yǔ)寫作的方法和技巧，掌握專業(yè)英語(yǔ)中英對(duì)譯的基本方法和技巧。在已經(jīng)具備大學(xué)英語(yǔ)基本能力的基礎(chǔ)上，進(jìn)一步掌握專業(yè)英語(yǔ)基本詞匯，并達(dá)到1000個(gè)左右專業(yè)詞匯量。要求理解率85%以上，閱讀速度達(dá)到每分鐘90詞以上。要求達(dá)到一定的專業(yè)文章閱讀速度及理解準(zhǔn)確度。三．課程的教學(xué)內(nèi)容、重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)1．InsightsintoArchitectureInthispart,thecoursewilldealwithtopicslike“whatisarchitecture?”,“whatisthemostphysicalissueinarchitecture?”and“whatisthemostimportantnotionofarchitecture?”Fromthispartincourse,studentswillunderstandconceptofarchitecture,commandthenotionaboutarchitectureandrelatedareas,whichfocusontheimportanceofarchitecturaldesign.2．TheProgramInthispart,thecoursewilldealwithtopicsastheconceptofbuildingprograms,programandfunction,programandsystem,programandorder.Itwillalsodiscussaboutwhatkindofroledoesaprogramplayinarchitecture.Righthere,studentswillunderstandbuildingprogramandprimarymethodtoorganizeaprogramforabuilding.3．DesigninProcessInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsasarchitecturaldesignondifferentstages,scientificwayofdesign,theusualdesignprocess,aswellasananswertothequestionas:howdoesanappropriateprocessleadtoareasonableresult?Fromhere,studentswillrecognizetheimportanceofdesignprocess,andcommandtheusualprocessanditscontentsinadesign.4．ArchitecturalPrincipleInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsassiteandexistingcondition,architecturalAesthetics,andseveralarchitecturaltheories.Fromthispartincourse,studentswillunderstandinfluencefrombuildingsiteandexistingcondition,haveafundamentalunderstandinguponarchitecturalaesthetics.andalsounderstandseveralmainarchitecturaltheorieswhichstillhaveaninfluenceuponarchitecturalarea.5．CityPlanningandLandscapeDesignInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsassocialandeconomicalsysteminacity,analyticalwayofurban,transportationsystemofacity,citylandscapeanditsspacesystem;ecologicalsystem;smallpublicsquare;localtransportareas,thedistributionoftours;streetspace,shieldedparking,webofshoppingandgardendesign.Fromthispartincourse,studentswillunderstandseveralmainsystemsofacity,thenecessityofsystematicanalysisonthecomplicateelementsinanurbanarea,andcommandthebasicwayofanalysisondifferentelementsabouturbanscapedesign.6．SeveralSortsofBuildingsInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsashotel,housing,theatre,high-risebuilding,aswellasdifferentiationamongdifferenttypesofbuildings,functionandarchitecturalform.Fromthispartincourse,studentswillmakeclearaboutdifferentiationamongdifferenttypesofbuildings,learntoexplainabuildingaboutitsmaincharacter,function,culture,form,structureandetc.7．InteriorDesignInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsasthemainprincipleofinteriordesign,harmoniouswayininteriorspaceconstruction,basicelementarypartsininteriordesign,Interiorornamentdesign,detailsandstructure.Fromthispartofcourse,studentswillunderstandtheprincipleininteriordesign,andmakerecognitionaboutdetailandstructuredesign.8．StructuralConceptsInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsasthefunctionofstructureinabuilding,thestructuraltypesofit,structuralandform,andstructuraltheories.Fromthispartincourse,studentswillunderstandfunctionofstructureinabuilding,basiccontentsandmethodologiesinstructuraltheories.Studentsalsomustcommandhowseveralprimarystructuraltypesutilizedusuallyinabuilding.9．TheNatureofMaterialsInthispart,thecoursewillfocusontopicsastheconceptofmaterials,andtheconnectionbetweenmaterialsandabuilding.Fromthispartincourse,studentswillunderstandthebasicconceptofthenatureofmaterials,commandhowmaterialsinfluencingtypeofbuildingstructureandarchitecturalform,aswellasmaterialsandarchitecturalaesthetics.重點(diǎn)：WhatisArchitecture?Whatisthemostphysicalissueinarchitecture?Theconceptofbuildingprograms.Theprimarywayofdesigninprocess.Howisarchitecturalprincipledeveloped?Overallunderstandingofcontentsofcityplanninganalysis.Howdoeseachbuildingappearstobe?Principleofinteriordesign.Theprimarystructuraltypesinabuilding.Howdoesthenatureofmaterialsinfluencebuildingstructureandarchitecturalform.難點(diǎn)：Howmanycategoriesarethereinarchitecture?Whatkindofroledoesaprogramplayinarchitecture.Basicstepsandtheircontentsindesign.WhatisarchitecturalPrin
