Abstract

UnderthebackgroundofChina-ASEANregionaleconomiccooperation,thecultivationofinformationtechnologytalentsinGuangxiuniversitiesisofgreatsignificanceforpromotingthedevelopmentofregionaleconomy.ThispaperaimstoexplorethecurrentsituationandproblemsofinformationtechnologytalentcultivationinGuangxiuniversities,andputsforwardrelevantstrategiesandsuggestionsforfurtherimprovement.

Introduction

WiththedeepeningofChina-ASEANregionaleconomiccooperation,Guangxihasbecomeanimportantgatewayandhubfortheregionaleconomicdevelopment.Inthiscontext,informationtechnologyhasplayedanincreasinglyimportantroleinpromotingtheeconomicdevelopmentofGuangxi.Inordertomeettheneedsofregionaleconomicdevelopment,Guangxiuniversitieshavebeenactivelycultivatinginformationtechnologytalents,buttherearestillsomeproblemsandchallenges.Therefore,thispaperaimstoexplorethecurrentsituationandproblemsofinformationtechnologytalentcultivationinGuangxiuniversities,andputsforwardrelevantstrategiesandsuggestionsforfurtherimprovement.

I.CurrentSituationofInformationTechnologyTalentCultivationinGuangxiUniversities

1.OverviewofInformationTechnologyTalentCultivationinGuangxiUniversities

Guangxiuniversitieshavebeenactivelycultivatinginformationtechnologytalentsinrecentyears.Accordingtostatistics,thereare14collegesanduniversitiesinGuangxithatofferinformationtechnologymajors,includingcomputerscience,softwareengineering,electronicengineering,andinformationmanagement.In2020,thenumberofgraduatesinthesemajorsreached20,900,withanannualgrowthrateofmorethan10%.

2.MainProblemsofInformationTechnologyTalentCultivationinGuangxiUniversities

However,therearestillsomeproblemsandchallengesininformationtechnologytalentcultivationinGuangxiuniversities,including:

(1)Thequalityofinformationtechnologytalentcultivationneedstobeimproved.Manygraduateslackpracticalexperienceandprofessionalskills,andtheirknowledgeandskillsarenotfullyinlinewiththeneedsoftheindustry.

(2)Thecurriculumdesignandteachingmethodsofinformationtechnologymajorsneedtobefurtherimproved.Someuniversities'curriculumdesignisoutdated,andthereisalackofinnovativeteachingmethodsandpracticaltraining.

(3)Thecooperationbetweenuniversitiesandenterprisesneedstobestrengthened.Thecurrentcooperationmodelbetweenuniversitiesandenterprisesisrelativelysimple,lackingin-depthcooperationandintegration.

II.StrategiesandSuggestionsforImprovingInformationTechnologyTalentCultivationinGuangxiUniversities

1.StrengthentheIntegrationofProductionandEducation

Inordertobettermeettheneedsofindustrydevelopmentandimprovethequalityofinformationtechnologytalentcultivation,Guangxiuniversitiesshouldstrengthentheintegrationofproductionandeducation,activelybuildacollaborativeeducationmodelwithenterprises,andestablishatalenttrainingsystemthatcombinestheorywithpractice.

2.OptimizeCurriculumDesignandTeachingMethods

Guangxiuniversitiesshouldoptimizethecurriculumdesignandteachingmethodsofinformationtechnologymajors,updateandimprovethecurriculumcontent,andadoptinnovativeteachingmethods.Inaddition,universitiesshouldstrengthenpracticaltrainingandcultivatestudents'practicalabilities.

3.StrengthentheConstructionofTeachers'Team

Theconstructionoftheteachers'teamisanimportantfactoraffectingthequalityofinformationtechnologytalentcultivation.Guangxiuniversitiesshouldstrengthentheconstructionofteachers'team,attractandcultivatehigh-qualityteachers,andimprovetheprofessionallevelandteachingabilityofteachers.

4.PromotetheCooperationbetweenUniversitiesandEnterprises

Guangxiuniversitiesshouldpromotethecooperationbetweenuniversitiesandenterprises,establishingmorecomprehensiveandin-depthcooperationmodels.Throughcooperation,universitiescanunderstandtheneedsofenterprisesintermsoftalentsandtechnology,andprovidetargetedtalenttrainingprogramsforenterprises.
