12-voltDCsolarpowersystemfortherefugeecommunity.

“We'velearnedmanythingslikepositivesandnegatives,amps,volts,allthatstuffyand

howtowirestufftogether,9,saidPrathamMehta,oneoftheThurgoodMarshallstudents."We're

takingallthisstuffforgranted,andothercountriesdon'thaveallthisstuff,likeelectricity.

Thesuitcaseswillbringelectricityto40schoolsintherefugeesettlement,whichprovide

educationforover12,000students.Theyaredesignedtobeeasilytransported(thusthesuitcase

design),whichmakesthemidealforlocationswithoutelectricity,likearefugeecamp.

Thepanelsinthesuitcasecollectsunlightandharnesstheenergyinabuilt-inbattery.Itcan
