theirstudy,KjaervikandBushmandefineangeras“anemotionalresponse(反應(yīng))toarealorimaginedthreat(威脅)They

usedatheoryofemotion(情緒假說)thatsaysemotionsarepartlyfeltinyourbodyandpartlyinyourmind.

Thescientistslookedattheotherstudiestoseehowdifferentactivitiesinfluencedanger.Theyfoundthatactivitiessuch

asrunningorboxing-whichareoftenthoughttobegoodfordealingwithanger-weren'tverygoodatreducingit.Infact,

someoftheseactivitiesactuallymadeitworsebecausetheyincreasedphysicalresponsesinthebodythatarelinkedtofeeling
