Aiming at a broad-based foundation for further studies of translation, the co

2、urse will encourage students to develop a rational approach to translation in their own practice as well as an awareness of different perspectives of translation. Course descriptionStudents attend lectures, participate in class discussions, read additional materials and engage in translation activit

3、ies to explore this multiplex, interdisciplinary area of inquiry. As part of the course work, they will be required to finish multiple translation assignments and sit in a final examination.Methods of InstructionTwo class periods per week.
