AshiftinChina'seconomicdiscoursehasbegun,withtheemphasisonhighGDPratesmovingtotheverynatureofgrowthitselfthenation'seconomicfocalpointwasnowfocusedontheimportanceof"sustainablegrowth"and"balanceddevelopment".
DespiteinternationalpressuresonChinaforfurtherrevaluationoftherenminbiandpoliticaldemandsonitsmonetaryauthoritiestorecycleitsforeignreservesbacktotheinternationalarena,inflationratesremainedlowand76percentoftheChinesereportedtohavinganoptimisticviewoftheirfuture.
