基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞

英語(yǔ)上表示數(shù)目和順序的詞叫數(shù)詞，數(shù)詞又分為兩大類：基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞。

一、基數(shù)詞

所謂基數(shù)，在數(shù)學(xué)上的理解是可以比較大小的數(shù)字。英語(yǔ)中的基數(shù)詞是用于描述事物數(shù)

量的多少。所以，基數(shù)詞的定義為：描述事物數(shù)量的多少的數(shù)詞稱為基數(shù)詞。

1、第一類：

one―-two二three三four四five五six六seven七

eight八nine九ten十elevenH■twelve十二

這一類共計(jì)十二個(gè)單詞，在結(jié)構(gòu)上與其他的基數(shù)詞相比較是特殊的，就像不規(guī)則的動(dòng)詞一

樣,要求逐個(gè)的硬背下來(lái),這對(duì)學(xué)好其他的基數(shù)詞和序數(shù)詞都是及其重要的.

2、第二類：

thirteen十三fourteen十四fifteen十五sixteen十六seventeen十七

eighteen十八nineteen十九

這一類基數(shù)詞共有七個(gè).它們?cè)诮Y(jié)構(gòu)上有兩個(gè)特點(diǎn)：一是在發(fā)音方面都有兩個(gè)重音；二是

在拼法上都有后綴一teen.除了thirteen和fifteen之外，都是純粹地在另一個(gè)基數(shù)詞的后面

加上后綴一teen.但要注意eighteen的拼法,eight本身有t字母,因此只加一een.

3、第三類：twenty二十thirty三十forty四十fifty五十sixty六十

seventy七十

eighty八十ninety九十

這類基數(shù)詞共有八個(gè).都是十位的整數(shù)，均以后綴一ty結(jié)尾.其中sixty、seventy、eighty、

ninety基本上是在相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后面加上后綴一ty.但要注意eighty的拼法,eight本身有t

字母，因此只加一y.

4、第四類：

這一類很簡(jiǎn)單,可以看成是一種合成詞.其結(jié)構(gòu)方式是：用十位整數(shù)加上個(gè)位整數(shù),其間用

連字符號(hào)“一”連接，表示“幾十幾”.這類基數(shù)詞的變化都是規(guī)則的.如：

twenty-one二4-forty-six四十六

seventy-eight七十八ninety-five九十五

(4).百位數(shù)的基數(shù)詞形式在百后加“hundred”，表示幾百，在幾十幾與百位間加上

and.hundred后不力口s。

以千計(jì)、數(shù)以百萬(wàn)計(jì)泛指許多

二、序數(shù)詞

序數(shù)詞是指表示順序的數(shù)詞。序數(shù)詞是數(shù)詞的一種，主要在英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法中講到，在漢語(yǔ)中

表示為“第幾”。此外，在生日中，描述你出生的日期時(shí)，也用到了序數(shù)詞。比如：Mayfirst

(5月1日)還有第1,first：第2,second等等都是。

1、第一類

first(1st)第一second(2nd)第二third(3rd)第三

(在括號(hào)里的是縮寫形式，均在阿拉伯?dāng)?shù)字后面加上相應(yīng)序數(shù)詞的最后兩個(gè)字母構(gòu)成，以

下各類與此相同.)

這類序數(shù)詞只有三個(gè),在整個(gè)序數(shù)詞里面是特殊的，就和第一類基數(shù)詞一樣，需要逐個(gè)地

硬記下來(lái).

2、第二類:

fourth(4th)第四fifth(5th)第五sixth(6th)第六seventh

(7th)第七

eighth(8th)第八ninth(9th)第九tenth(10th)第十

eleventh(11th)第十一

twelfth(12th)第十二thirteenth(13th)第十三fourteenth(14th)

第十四

fifteenth(15th)第十五sixteenth(16th)第十六seventeenth

(17th)第十七

eighteenth(18th)第十八nineteenth(19th)第十九

這一類序數(shù)詞共有十六個(gè).均在相應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后面加上后綴一th構(gòu)成.要注意其中fifth.

twelfth四個(gè)詞的拼法.

3、第三類：

twentieth(20th)第二十thirtieth(30th)第三十fortieth

(40th)第四十

fiftieth(50th)第五十sixtieth(60th)第六十seventieth

(70th)第七十

eightieth(80th)第八十ninetieth(90th)第九十

這一類全是十位整數(shù)的序數(shù)詞,共八個(gè).它們的構(gòu)成方法是：先將相應(yīng)的十位整數(shù)的基數(shù)詞

詞尾一ty中的y改成

i,然后在加上后綴一eth.

4、第四類：

thirty-first(31th)第三Hksixty-second(62nd)第六十二

eighty-seventh(87th)第八十七ninety-eighth(98th)第九十八

ahundredandfifty-third第^百五十三

這類表示“兩位或兩位以上的序數(shù)詞,跟表示基數(shù)詞一樣簡(jiǎn)單.在構(gòu)成方法上均由相應(yīng)基

數(shù)詞“變化而來(lái),十位

數(shù)不變,僅把個(gè)位上的基數(shù)詞變成序數(shù)詞就行了.

口訣：基變序，有規(guī)律，詞尾加上th,一二三特殊記，結(jié)尾字母t,d,do

th要從四加起,八去t,九去e,

五與十二同尾ve,f來(lái)把ve替。若是碰到幾十幾，只變個(gè)位就可以，整數(shù)詞也

好記,y變ie+th。

序數(shù)詞表順序，前有定冠詞the莫忘記.

序數(shù)詞用法：

1.序數(shù)詞在使用時(shí)，一般加上定冠詞the，表示第幾，

thefirstfloor第一■層thethirdday第三天

序數(shù)詞加不定冠詞用來(lái)表示又一，再一的意思

2.序數(shù)詞的用途

a.用來(lái)表示時(shí)間(后面詳細(xì)講解時(shí)間表示法)

例如：2008年2月28日可以表示為February28th,2008

b.用來(lái)表示順序

例如：Heisalwaysthefirsttocometoschool.他總是第一個(gè)來(lái)學(xué)校。

c.用來(lái)表示樓層

例如：Helivesonthefourthfloor.他住在四樓。

d、表示事物的編號(hào)：如：theninthpart=PartNine第九部分

e、表示年月日：“年”用基數(shù)詞，”日用序數(shù)詞”以下是表示月份的單詞，同學(xué)們要
