讀后續(xù)寫原文的語(yǔ)言分析框架

【要點(diǎn)釋義】

英語(yǔ)閱讀的過(guò)程首先是分析語(yǔ)言的過(guò)程。只有當(dāng)學(xué)生對(duì)文本的語(yǔ)言能夠進(jìn)行初步的分析,

后續(xù)信息的提取、整合,思維能力的提升才有可能完成。因此,語(yǔ)言處理是讀后續(xù)寫必不可

少的一個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)。

不同的文章,語(yǔ)言上各具特色,有的語(yǔ)言明白曉暢、簡(jiǎn)潔清麗,有的語(yǔ)言通俗易懂、

形象生動(dòng),有的語(yǔ)言凝練含蓄、形象生動(dòng)、情理相諧、意境深廣,有的語(yǔ)言精練準(zhǔn)確、樸素

自然、清新明快、親切感人。不同作者有不同語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格特點(diǎn),有的豪放,有的婉約。分析文

章的語(yǔ)言就是對(duì)文章的這些特點(diǎn)結(jié)合文本做出分析。分析文章的角度有:

從詞語(yǔ)角度分析。第一看詞語(yǔ)是不是有豐富含義,第二看詞語(yǔ)的特點(diǎn)。如果詞語(yǔ)有深

刻含義,像比喻義,雙關(guān)義等可以使語(yǔ)言具有含蓄蘊(yùn)藉的特點(diǎn)。如果大量使用雙聲詞、疊韻

詞、擬聲詞等,可以使語(yǔ)言具有朗朗上口的特點(diǎn),富有音樂(lè)美。如果大量使用了動(dòng)詞、形容

詞可以使語(yǔ)言形象生動(dòng),如果使用了較多描寫色彩的詞,可以使語(yǔ)言形象,富于變化。

從修辭格的角度分析??匆蠓治龅木渥印⒄Z(yǔ)段甚至文章是否使用了修辭格。比喻的作

用主要是:化平淡為生動(dòng),化深?yuàn)W為淺顯,化抽象為具體,化冗長(zhǎng)為簡(jiǎn)潔。所以使用比喻可

以使語(yǔ)言生動(dòng)、形象、簡(jiǎn)潔。當(dāng)然,使用比擬也有這樣的效果。排比的作用是加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)勢(shì),強(qiáng)

調(diào)內(nèi)容,加重感情,反問(wèn)句的作用是加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣,所以它們可以使語(yǔ)言具有氣勢(shì)。對(duì)偶的作用

是節(jié)奏鮮明,音韻和諧,讀來(lái)瑯瑯上口,便于傳誦記憶??鋸埖淖饔檬怯欣谕怀鍪挛锏谋?/p>

質(zhì)和特征,鮮明地表現(xiàn)出作者對(duì)事物的感情態(tài)度,所以可以增加語(yǔ)言的生動(dòng)性。借代的作用

是以簡(jiǎn)代繁,以實(shí)代虛,以奇代凡,以事代情,可以引人聯(lián)想。使表達(dá)收到形象突出、特點(diǎn)

鮮明、具體生動(dòng)的效果。

從語(yǔ)體風(fēng)格的角度分析。書面語(yǔ)體一般都使用長(zhǎng)句、復(fù)句、結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)耐耆洹2季謱?/p>

次分明、邏輯關(guān)系嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)。因此語(yǔ)言的明確性、簡(jiǎn)要性、規(guī)格性是這種語(yǔ)體的基本要求??谡Z(yǔ)

語(yǔ)體是適應(yīng)“面談”的交際需要而形成的,所以也叫談話語(yǔ)體??谡Z(yǔ)語(yǔ)體的主要特點(diǎn)是:平易

自然,不事雕琢,有跳躍性,生動(dòng)活潑,有強(qiáng)烈的生活氣息。

從文體特點(diǎn)角度分析。選好文本后先要確定是實(shí)用類文本還是文學(xué)類文本,然后分類了

解各種類型文本的具體小類。(1)記敘類文本的語(yǔ)言特色:“生動(dòng)形象,富有表現(xiàn)力”是記

敘文的總特色。從記敘文的語(yǔ)言構(gòu)成有:敘述性語(yǔ)言,對(duì)話性語(yǔ)言,抒情性語(yǔ)言,描寫性語(yǔ)

言和議論性語(yǔ)言。敘述性語(yǔ)言要客觀化,對(duì)話性語(yǔ)言要個(gè)性化,抒情性語(yǔ)言要情感化,描寫

性語(yǔ)言要細(xì)節(jié)化,議論性語(yǔ)言要深刻化。所以在記敘文的總特色下還要考慮記敘文語(yǔ)言的客

觀化、個(gè)性化、情感化、細(xì)節(jié)化、深刻化特點(diǎn)。(2)說(shuō)明文類文本語(yǔ)言特色:準(zhǔn)確、簡(jiǎn)潔、

富有表現(xiàn)力是說(shuō)明文的語(yǔ)言特色。一篇具體的說(shuō)明文,由于說(shuō)明對(duì)象、讀者對(duì)象和作者語(yǔ)言

風(fēng)格的不同,其語(yǔ)言特色可以平實(shí)見長(zhǎng),也可以生動(dòng)活潑見長(zhǎng)。或概括,或具體;或簡(jiǎn)潔,

或豐腴;或精練,或詳盡;或平易樸實(shí),或幽默風(fēng)趣。認(rèn)真分析文章所用到的各種說(shuō)明方法,

各種說(shuō)明方法在文章中的科學(xué)運(yùn)用,正是說(shuō)明文語(yǔ)言特色的正確體現(xiàn)。(3)議論類文本的語(yǔ)

言特色:準(zhǔn)確、鮮明、富有概括力是議論文的語(yǔ)言特色。議論文的論點(diǎn)一定要鮮明,作者的

褒貶態(tài)度也一定要鮮明,議論文的語(yǔ)言概括力特別強(qiáng),常常用比較抽象的詞語(yǔ)表現(xiàn)豐富的內(nèi)

容。注意理解句子中定語(yǔ)、狀語(yǔ)等修飾限制成分,反復(fù)琢磨關(guān)鍵語(yǔ)句中的關(guān)鍵性詞語(yǔ)。

從句式使用的角度分析。在一定的語(yǔ)言壞境中,選用不同句式會(huì)使文章的語(yǔ)言呈現(xiàn)不同

的特點(diǎn)。所以我們還要看文章在句式使用上有沒有特點(diǎn)。例如看是否長(zhǎng)句和短句相結(jié)合。長(zhǎng)

句的修飾、限制成分多,結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)。短句的句式短小,表意靈巧,能明確、簡(jiǎn)捷、有力地表

達(dá)思想感情,特別是表達(dá)激動(dòng)、強(qiáng)烈的感情或渲染緊張的氣氛,很適宜用短句.長(zhǎng)句和短句

各有不同的修辭作用,在文章中長(zhǎng)短句并用,可以使語(yǔ)言變化多姿,錯(cuò)綜靈活。另外還可以

看是否整句和散句的結(jié)合使用,是否使用了變式句等等。

讀后續(xù)寫文本語(yǔ)言形式的分析方法

語(yǔ)言是思維的載體,續(xù)寫的內(nèi)容要以語(yǔ)言為基礎(chǔ)。我們可以從以下視角分析給定文中的

語(yǔ)言形式。

(一)挖掘語(yǔ)篇主題

《普通高中英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》(2017年版2020年修訂)指出所有的語(yǔ)言活動(dòng)都應(yīng)該在一

定的主題語(yǔ)境下進(jìn)行,學(xué)生對(duì)主題語(yǔ)境的探究是學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言的最重要內(nèi)容,直接影響學(xué)生

語(yǔ)篇理解的程度、思維發(fā)展的水平和語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)的成效。續(xù)寫具有較大的靈活性,相對(duì)于受內(nèi)

容限制的命題寫作而言,更具開放性,因此續(xù)寫文章往往別具一格,但亦容易出現(xiàn)跑題偏題

的情形。因此,學(xué)生首先要明白“寫什么”,才能知道“如何寫",即用什么樣的語(yǔ)言表達(dá)主題。

2016年10月浙江高考英語(yǔ)的讀后續(xù)寫短文講述了一對(duì)夫妻Jane和Tom去森林露營(yíng),

因?yàn)闋?zhēng)吵,Jane負(fù)氣獨(dú)自走進(jìn)森林而后迷路的經(jīng)歷。通過(guò)仔細(xì)閱讀,學(xué)生能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)Jane在

森林中尋路時(shí)內(nèi)心想到的都是丈夫Tom,并后悔與他發(fā)生爭(zhēng)執(zhí),在困境中更加堅(jiān)定自己對(duì)

Tom的情感。文中一些語(yǔ)句表現(xiàn)了Jane對(duì)Tom真摯的情感,如:"Tom!"she

criecTHelp!”Lyingawakeinthedark,wantedverymuchtobewithTomandherfamily.She

wantedtoholdTomandtellhimhowmuchshelovedhim.學(xué)生可以通過(guò)這些語(yǔ)句發(fā)現(xiàn)文章的

主題,即夫妻間的真情。如果學(xué)生只是單純描寫Jane的恐懼、傷心甚至絕望,而沒有觸及Jane

對(duì)Tom的思念,結(jié)尾處也沒有重聚后的情感描寫,則文章的主題就沒有得到體現(xiàn)和升華。

為了突出主題,學(xué)生可以在續(xù)寫中運(yùn)用thinkabout,dreamof,miss,hug,burstintotears等詞語(yǔ),

也可以在結(jié)尾處寫HoldingTomtightly,Janesaidt4Iloveyousomuch!”既運(yùn)用了文中的非謂

語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞做狀語(yǔ)的結(jié)構(gòu),又變換運(yùn)用了給定文中的語(yǔ)言,形成續(xù)寫部分與給定文本語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格和

表達(dá)方式的一致。

(二)理順語(yǔ)篇基調(diào)

像音樂(lè)作品一樣,基調(diào)就是文章的音調(diào)。一篇文章的開始往往奠定了全文的基調(diào)。筆者

讀到一篇短文,講述了一位史密斯先生健忘,有時(shí)話說(shuō)到一半居然忘了自己在說(shuō)什么。他的

妻子只能不斷地提醒他開會(huì)、上課,甚至吃飯等日常事宜。史密斯先生是一所知名大學(xué)的教

授,他的健忘使他很尷尬。一個(gè)炎熱的夏天,史密斯教授打算帶孩子們乘坐三個(gè)小時(shí)的火車

去海邊的一個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)度假。為了增加旅行的神秘性和趣味性,史密斯教授事先沒有告訴孩子們

小鎮(zhèn)的名字,可是當(dāng)他與孩子們到達(dá)車站時(shí)自己卻忘記了小鎮(zhèn)的名字。幸運(yùn)的是他的一個(gè)同

事恰好出現(xiàn)在車站,他拜托同事照看孩子們,自己返回家中查詢小鎮(zhèn)的名字。妻子驚訝地發(fā)

現(xiàn)自己的丈夫出現(xiàn)在家門口,問(wèn)清緣由后她將地址寫在紙上以防史密斯教授忘記。十分鐘后,

妻子驚訝地發(fā)現(xiàn)史密斯先生再次出現(xiàn)在家門口。整個(gè)故事讀起來(lái)很有趣,文中badmemory,

famous,forgetful,embarrassment等詞奠定了文章幽默的基調(diào),學(xué)生需要巧妙運(yùn)用趣味性的語(yǔ)

言續(xù)寫史密斯教授的健忘事跡。

(三)揣摩感情色彩

讀后續(xù)寫題提供的文本多是記敘文,文章通常有豐富的人物描寫,尤其是心理描寫和動(dòng)

作描寫。這兩種描寫往往透露出人物的感情色彩。學(xué)生把握住人物的感情色彩就能根據(jù)感情

這條線續(xù)寫文章。

2020年7月浙江高考英語(yǔ)的讀后續(xù)寫短文講述了一對(duì)夫妻與北極熊對(duì)抗,之后成功脫

險(xiǎn)的故事。文中一些語(yǔ)句反映出主人公的感情變化。如:

WhenIfacetofacewithapolarbear,Ilikeittobethroughacamerawithatelephonelens.

一開始主人公非常興奮:

Terrified,ElliandItriedallthebeardefenseactionsweknew.Weyelledatthebear,hitpotshard,

andfiredblankshotgunshellsintotheair.

受到北極熊的進(jìn)攻時(shí),主人公感到驚恐。尤其是terrified一詞直接表明主人公面臨北極

熊的威脅時(shí)的恐懼心理。Yelled,hit和fired三個(gè)動(dòng)詞描述了主人公為嚇退北極熊所采取的

應(yīng)急措施。三個(gè)動(dòng)詞的連續(xù)使用和先后順序顯示出聲響越來(lái)越大,這凸顯夫婦倆的恐懼愈加

強(qiáng)烈。三個(gè)動(dòng)詞的使用讓抽象的terrified一詞更加生動(dòng)真實(shí)。

Withanangryroar(用L叫),thebearrantothelaketowashhiseyes.

當(dāng)北極熊眼睛受到噴霧的刺激而跑開給主人公逃離爭(zhēng)取了時(shí)間,此時(shí)主人公因暫時(shí)脫險(xiǎn)

而松了一口氣。通過(guò)仔細(xì)閱讀,學(xué)生可以發(fā)現(xiàn)主人公的感情線為:興奮——驚恐——放松。

在閱讀時(shí),學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)了如何運(yùn)用形容詞來(lái)描述人物的感情色彩,也學(xué)習(xí)了如何運(yùn)用動(dòng)作描寫

來(lái)渲染人物的內(nèi)心感受,從而在續(xù)寫部分模仿運(yùn)用。

(四)品味詞性使用

第三點(diǎn)中提及形容詞和動(dòng)詞可以用來(lái)描寫人物的感情色彩。在2020年7月浙江高考英

語(yǔ)讀后續(xù)寫這篇短文里原作者運(yùn)用不同詞性的詞刻畫北極熊的兇猛形象,如:

AsElliandIcookeddinner,ayoungmalepolarbearwhowasplayinginanearbylake

sniffed,andsmelledourgarlicbread.Thehungrybearfollowedhisnosetoourcamp,whichwas

surroundedbyahighwirefence.Hepulledandbitthewire.Hestoodonhisbacklegsandpushed

atthewoodenfenceposts.

原作者運(yùn)用了一系列的動(dòng)詞來(lái)描寫北極熊的動(dòng)作:sniffed,smelled,followed,pulled,bit,

stood和pushed生動(dòng)形象地描繪了北極熊如何尋找食物。從聞嗅到跟蹤再到推拉,北極熊饑

餓難忍,迫切想要吃到咖喔面包,步步逼近主人公的住所,預(yù)示危險(xiǎn)的來(lái)臨,與下文主人公

的恐懼心理緊密聯(lián)系。教師可以引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)一連串動(dòng)詞的使用,那么學(xué)生在續(xù)寫部分就會(huì)

想方設(shè)法運(yùn)用動(dòng)詞來(lái)描述主人公與北極熊斗智斗勇的場(chǎng)面,達(dá)到與原作者語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格的一致。

除了動(dòng)詞,形容詞和副詞也常被使用。

2017年6月浙江高考英語(yǔ)讀后續(xù)寫講述了Mac與好友騎自行車去阿拉斯加,途中同伴

修理自行車,Mac獨(dú)自一人前行,遇到狼的襲擊的故事。原作者對(duì)狼的進(jìn)攻的刻畫十分生

動(dòng),如:

ThenMacheardquickandloudbreathingbehindhim."Man,that'sabigdog!”hethought.

Butwhenhelookedtotheside,hesawinstantlythatitwasn,tadogatall,butawolf,quickly

catchingupwithhim.

文中形容詞quick和loud描寫了狼急促的喘息聲,透露出危險(xiǎn)的臨近,營(yíng)造了緊張的氣

氛。副詞instantly和quickly進(jìn)一步描寫了狼緊跟在后的動(dòng)作,危險(xiǎn)逐步逼近。

(五)觀察句式特點(diǎn)

不同文體的句式特點(diǎn)不同,不同作者的句式特點(diǎn)也不相同。學(xué)生在分析文本語(yǔ)言時(shí)需要

觀察句式特點(diǎn),例如2016年浙江高考英語(yǔ)讀后續(xù)寫:

Withnopathtofollow,Janejustwalkedonforquitealongtime.Aftershehadclimbedtoa

highplace,sheturnedaround,hopingtoseethelake.Tohersurprise,shesawnothingbutforest

and,farbeyond,asnowcappedmountaintop.Shesuddenlyrealizedthatshewaslost.

原作者使用了非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞,并且長(zhǎng)短句交錯(cuò),富有節(jié)奏感,學(xué)生在續(xù)寫時(shí)也要使用相近

的句式。

(六)體會(huì)修辭之美

“新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”將比喻、擬人、強(qiáng)調(diào)、反諷、夸張、對(duì)仗等修辭手段在語(yǔ)篇中的表意功能

及常見用法列為選修提高類的語(yǔ)篇知識(shí)內(nèi)容。這便強(qiáng)調(diào)了修辭手段及其在解讀語(yǔ)篇中的重要

性。

2018年浙江高考英語(yǔ)讀后續(xù)寫講述了一位父親帶兒子去西部體驗(yàn)鄉(xiāng)村生活,父子倆騎

馬馳騁在田野中后迷路的故事。給定文本中有幾處運(yùn)用了修辭手法描繪大自然的美麗,如:

Itwassopeacefulandquietandthecolorsofthebrownrocks,thedeepgreenpinetrees,andthe

lateafternoonsunmixedtocreateamagicscene.Itlookedlikeabeautifulwovenblanketspread

outuponthegroundjustforus.

create一詞采用了擬人的修辭手法,賦予巖石、松樹和夕陽(yáng)人類特征,彰顯大自然的生

命力。作者將魔幻的景色比喻成地毯,讓讀者有身臨其境之感,在腦海中想象當(dāng)時(shí)的美麗景

象。這里,教師可以提問(wèn)學(xué)生“為什么不比喻成圖畫,而是比喻成地毯?”很多文學(xué)作品都用

詩(shī)畫描繪自然美景,所謂“如詩(shī)如畫"。這里可以用picture代替blanket,但blanket一詞才更

能讓讀者感覺到作者漫步在大自然中。雖然句中沒有出現(xiàn)walked一詞,但blanket一詞卻能

讓讀者充分想象讀者徜徉在森林中的愜意。
