Thestudy,byresearchersattheUniversityofArizonazfound

thatselfieeditingandtimeinvestedincreatingandselectingthe

perfectselfiewerebothrelatedtoself-objectification,whichled

tobodyshame,appearanceanxietyandmorenegative

appearanceevaluationsinteengirls.^Self-objectificationisthe

Basedonastudyof278teenagegirk,〃Ourmainfindingwas

thatwereallyshouldnztbetooworriedaboutkidswhotake

selfiesandsharethem;that'snotwherethenegativeeffects

saidparentsandcaregiversofadolescentgirlsshouldbeaware
