batteriesmakethemheavier,causingmorefriction.

Moreover,theproductionofEVbatteriesisparticularlyproblematic.Miningforlithiumandother

essentialmineralsusedinbatteriesoftenresultsinsignificantenvironmentaldamage.Theseprocessescan
