2、difficult points Teaching key points: 1) Be familiar with new words and the dialogue : A :Can I help you? B: I want A: Here you are. B: Thank you . (money, blouse, shoes, socks) 2) Price goods and make a deal . How much is it / are they? Its / They are,Teaching difficult points : 1)Ask the price by
3、using the expressions: “How much is ? Its ” “How much are they? They are” and make sure they can use new words frequently and correctly. 2) Finish the survey by themselves and act the situation by using the shopping expressions.,3. Teaching aims,Knowledge aims : 1) new words : money socks shoes blou

Its/ They are,Ability aims : a) Enable students to understand , read and write new words . b) Enable Ss to use the patterns of inquiring the price, and further develop their language ability of “shopping”. c) Foster the Ss abilities of creation an
5、d performance in a real situation.,Affective aims : Foster their consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.,4 Teaching methods Establish a real scene and interact with my pupils. Create many activities to encourage them to use the expressions about shopping correctly and speak English

Make use of the modern electrical equipments and all kinds of teaching tools, which can mobilize the Ss enthusiasm and creativity in learning English.,5 Teaching procedures and purposes of my designing.,Step 1 Warming-up Watch a model show and remember the clothes what they can see. And the
7、 same time Ill put some pictures on the blackboard to present their answers. 1) Review the words about clothes and make a preparation for asking the price of clothes. 2) Attract their attention . 3) Develop their observation.,Step 2 New words learning Teach the new words by using the modern electric
8、al equipment to present the pictures . 1) Attract their attention . 2) Make them easily understand the meanings of the new words.,Step 3 Presentation 1) Answer “I want” (By this way, I want to lead to “money” 2) Recognize how to read the value of money correctly (Make a preparation for asking the pr
9、ice of money.) 3) Look and guess the price of clothes. (By guessing again and again, they know how to use the patterns “how much” correctly.,Step 4 Practice 1)Guess: Look , remember the price and answer “how much”. Look at which group and do better. 2)Make a survey: ask their partner and write down
10、the price. By making a competition with different teams, all pupils come into our class. Consolidate and deepen the sentence pattern.,Step 5 Extension 1) Listen and repeat the expressions about shopping. (To develop their ability of speaking and listening .) 2) Role change : teacher will be a guest,
11、 and student will be a assistant . (To help Ss further understand the main content of the dialogue and get the key points by scene demonstration. ),3)Divide classroom into several business zones: clothes store, shoes store, boutique etc. All of Ss can be bosses and guests. Make a deal by the express
12、ions about shopping. Consolidate and deepen the sentence pattern further more . Develop their mutual improvement in exchanging information during the communicating activities. Make all the Ss take their parts in the activities, especially for the Ss who have trouble in English study, and they can speak with ease.,Step 7 Homework 1) Write down five sentence about asking the price. 2)Make a conversation by using the expressions about shopping.
