如何減少偏見英語作文150字初中作文Weallliketoputfailureontheobjectoftheirdislike,althoughweknowitmaynotbeconsistentwiththetruth,butalsoignore.Einstein,agreatscientist,grewupinGermanyasaJew,andlatersettledintheUnitedStates.Heoncesaidhumorouslyandbitterly:"Whetherrelativityisascientifictruthornotwillbeprovedafterme.IfI'mright,theGermanswillsayI'mGerman,andtheFrenchwillsayI'mJewish;IfI'mwrong,theGermanswillsayI'mJewish,andtheFrenchwillsayI'mGerman."GermanyandFrancehadhistoricalanimosity.MostFrenchpeoplehatedtheGermans,andNaziGermanydiditsbesttoexcludeJews.MostFrenchpeoplethinkthattheGermansarebadandthattheycannotsucceed.AndtheGermansthoughtthattheJewishnationwasalowernation,anditwasimpossibleforalowernationtohavegiants.It'sallprejudice.Whenwehaveafixedviewoftheworld,thisviewallowsustojudgeinonlyoneway,tothink,toseethingscomprehensivelyisanemptyword.NotallGermansareNazis,andnotallJewsareinferior.Jewshaveextraordinarybusinessability,theyhaveastrongcohesion,theestablishmentofthestateofIsraelisagoodexplanationoftheJewishpeoplearenotinferiorpeople.Onthecontrary,theyareagreatpeople.Becauseofbias,weloadgoodthingsontotheimagewelike.SomemissionarieswenttothewildareasofAfricatopreachthebehaviorofJesusgivinghislifetosaveothers.Thelocalaborigineswereverymovedbythenews.Theysurroundedthemissionariesandaskedquestions,hopingtogetmoreinformationaboutJesus.SothepreachertookoutthepictureofJesusandhungitonthewallforthemtosee.BlackAfricans,whoalwayshatedwhitepeople,wereinanuproarwhentheysawthepictureofJesus.HowcouldJesusbewhite?Howcouldsuchaniceguybewhite?Everyonescatteredinacrowd.Evennow,someAfricantribeshavetopaintJesusasblacktogetpeopletoaccepthim.Duetohistoricalreasons,blackpeoplehaveprejudiceagainstwhitepeople,theythinkwhitepeoplearedemons,howcantherebesuchagoodpersonamongdemons?Whenyouputonablackandwhitemirrortoseetheworld,howcantheworldbecolorful?Whenyouarebiasedtowardsonething,everythingthatisopposedtoitisconsideredwrong.Buttheworldisnotsosimpletojudgerightandwrong,rightandwrong.Weneedtousedialecticalthinkingtotreatathing,evaluateathing.Blindlyidentificationanddenialwillmakeusdeviatefromthecenter,andeventuallyawayfromtheessenceofthings,awayfromthetruth.Thinkoutsidetheboxandyou'llbeclosertothetruth.Lookatthingsdialecticallyandyoucangettotheiressence.Therearemoretypesofsinthanwecancount,butitiseasytoseethattheyallstemfromhumanweaknesses,suchasprideandprejudice."PrideandPrejudice,"asthebookiscalled,isabouthumanprideandprejudice.Elizabethwasthestrong,generousdaughterofasmalllandowner.Mr.DarcyisanaristocratoftheEnglishhighsociety,distinguished,upright,andcapable.Atacountryball,Mr.Darcy,whowasnotusedtotalkinganddancingwithstrangers,gavetheimpressionofbeinguntamedandinsolent.ElizabethalsohadprejudiceagainstMr.Darcy,evenifMr.Darcy'sgoodintentionsweremisunderstoodbyherasmalicious,self-show.Onthecontrary,John,whowasevilandgreedybynature,washighlyvaluedforhisapparenthumility.ThestoryalsodramaticallyintertwinedMr.DarcyandJohn,everyonewithprejudicetoviewMr.Darcy,choosetobelievetheprideful,duplicitousJohn.Mr.Darcyisregardedasarich,treacherousman.Asthesayinggoes,auprightbodyisnotafraidofacrookedshadow.Mr.Darcyisjustandrighteous,andhedoesnotcareaboutpeople'smisunderstandingofhim.Noexplanationwasgiven.AndbecauseofJohn'sfather,hedidnotexposeit,butreturnedgoodforevil.Interestingly,haughtyDarcyfellinlovewithElizabeth.Hedidnotcarewhatothersthought,buthecouldnotcarelessaboutElizabeth.Hesummonedupthecouragetoconfesshislovetoher,butwasrebuffedmercilessly.Nowonder,howbadlyhehadimpressedElizabeth!Thestoryhereappearedatwist,DarcylowproudheadtoElizabethtoshoweverything.Elizabethdidn'tbelieveit.Astimegoesby,thetruthslowlyemerges.AfterreallyunderstandingMr.Darcy'spersonality,prejudiceiseliminated,andMr.DarcyinElizabeth'seyesbecomeslovely,pureandnoble.Mr.Darcyispolishedbylove,infrontofElizabethhasnoprideatall,regardlessofpersonallosstohelpElizabeth'sfamilyoutoftrouble.Finally,twopeoplemakepeace,loveeachother,intheblessingofthepeopleintothemarriagehall.OnetimewhenIvisitedmyclassmates'space,Isawthatmyclassmatesleftamessageinthespace—Ihatewhenpeoplespeakillofothersbehindtheirbacks.Ithinkthisstudentmusthavebeensaiduglythingsbehindsomeone'sback.ButI'vewatchedherinlifeandI'veseenhersaybadthingsbehindpeople'sbacksacoupleoftimes,inaveryquietvoice,totheirfaces.Iamnotaccusingher,infact,everyonehasthebadhabitofsayingbadthingsbehindothers'backs,Iamnoexception,butIreallywanttotellthisstudenttoseeothers'mistakesatthesametime,alsoseetheirownmistakes,andcorrectthem,andthenlearntounderstandandtolerance.Thisremindsmeofanotherstory.Myfriendandclassmateoncetoldmethatafemalestudentinourclasswasadragandhadalotofbadbehavior.Iknewshewasrightaboutthatclassmate,butmygoodfriendalsohadmanybadhabits,thoughmuchbetterthanthatgirl.Thismakesmeunderstandthatprejudiceisoftencausedbypeople'sinabilitytotolerateandunderstandtheshortcomingsofthosearoundus.Infact,thereisprejudicewheretherearepeople,theexistenceofprejudiceisoftenbecauseofshortcomings,thebestwaytotreatothers'shortcomingsistoleranceandunderstan
