a.“當……時”，兩件事情相繼發(fā)生（從句動作在主句動作之前發(fā)生）

代替一般將來時。

和although相比，while語氣比較弱，比較口語化。Although正式，語氣也強

烈。

3.as的用法

a."正當……的時候”（動詞可短暫，可延續(xù)）

b.“隨著”

模塊三1條件狀語從句

常用連接詞：because,since,as等。

1.because

語勢最強，用來說明直接的原因，回答why提出的問題。當主句為否定句

時，從句because與主句間有無逗號，意思不同。

>Ididn'tinvitehim,becauseIwantedtoborrowsomebooks.

_我沒有去拜訪他，因為我想要去借幾本書

>Ididn'tinvitehimbecauseIwantedtoborrowsomebooks.

—我并不是想要向他借書才去拜訪他的

2.since

“既然，由于”表示對方已知的、無須加以說明的既成事實的理由，只是一個

附帶說明，如從句表示的原因不是確定的事實，通常用because。

>Sinceeverybodyishere,lefsbegin.

>Hemusthavetakenthebooksinceitisn'there.

3..as

“由于，因為“，表示十分明顯的原因，所引導的從句常位于主句之前，一般

說明因果關系，著重點在主句。

>Asshewasnohorsewoman,walkingwasheronlyalternative（choice）.（首字母）

Ps：原句為alternative,此處首字母choice為替換詞。（學生版不出現(xiàn)）

4.for

?不是說明直接原因，而是多種情況加以推斷；

?不能用在句首，只能用在逗號后面。

?由because引導的從句如果放在句末，且前面有逗號，可以用for引導的并

列句來代替

>Heisabsenttoday,because/forheisill.

>ThenewsthatthecarriagewasnotavailabletillnextTuesdayannoyedhim,forhe

wasimpatienttogethome.
