V.教材解讀

1.Whentheyarrive,Dannyisoutsideintheyard.

arrive為不及物動詞，意為"到達(dá)，來到"，后接表地點(diǎn)的名詞時，需使用介詞in或at.in用于指較

大的地點(diǎn),at則指比較具體的小地點(diǎn).arriveat/in與getto/reach同義.

2.HesaidthatIcouldusehistelescope.

本句含有that引導(dǎo)的賓語從句.無論主句是陳述句還是疑問句，賓語從句都應(yīng)使用陳述語序.

含賓語從句的復(fù)合句，主從句謂語動詞的時態(tài)呼應(yīng)包括以下三點(diǎn)：

（1）如果主句的謂語動詞是一般現(xiàn)在時，賓語從句的謂語動詞可根據(jù)需要，選用相應(yīng)的時

態(tài).

（2）如果主句的謂語動詞是一般過去時，賓語從句的謂語動詞應(yīng)用相應(yīng)的過去時態(tài).

（3）如果賓語從句所表示的是客觀事實(shí)、普遍真理、自然現(xiàn)象或習(xí)慣性動作等，不管主句

用什么時態(tài),從句時態(tài)都用一般現(xiàn)在時.

join為及物動詞，意為"參加，加入"，其后可接人，也可接表示團(tuán)體、組織、黨派等的名詞.join

為非延續(xù)性動詞，和表示一段時間的狀語連用時應(yīng)變?yōu)閎ein.

unless為連詞，意為”除非，如果不”.由unless引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句既可以是真實(shí)條件,也可以

是非真實(shí)條件.unless通常相當(dāng)于if.not...

double可作名詞或形容詞，意為”兩倍(的);雙重(的)”，也可作動詞，意為“使加倍”.

7.Well,it'sworthatry,evenifIdon'tfindaplanet.

worth意為"相當(dāng)……價值，值得"，常用于beworth+n./doing結(jié)構(gòu).

evenif為從屬連詞詞組,表示假設(shè)情況，意為“即使……”，用來引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句.

amazing是amaze的?ing形式，意為"(令人)驚異的”;過去分詞amazed則表示"(感到)驚異的”.

belongtosb.意為“屬于某人"，相當(dāng)于besb*s.belongto不能用于進(jìn)行時態(tài)和被動語態(tài).
