ThisyearalsomarksthefirsttimethesurveywasexpandedtoSingapore,providingacomparativelensbetweenthetwo

international

financialcentres.ThefullanalysisoftheSingaporesurveywillbecoveredinaseparatepublication.Conductedbetween2and

14January2025,thesurveysoughtprofessionalperspectivesonemploymenttrendsandcareeropportunitiesinHongKongandthewiderGreaterBay

Area(GBA).Theresearchcoveredthelatestheadcountexpectations,salaryoutlook,talenttrendsandotherrelevanttopics.Respondents

weredrawnfromvarioussectors,includingconsumermarkets,financialservices,innovationandtechnology,professionalservices,publicservices,andrealestate,with53%ofrespondents’

organisationsbeingheadquarteredinHongKong.36%ofrespondents’

organisationswerepubliclistedcompanieswhile43%wereprivatecompanies.Amongtherespondents,50%heldleadershippositions(21%C-leveland29%departmentheadorequivalent).Respondentshadonaverage
