HeritagesiteincentralChina*sHubeiProvince,tolearnmartialarts.Pinnicksaidhehadbeenveryinterestedin

ChineseKungFusincehewasachild.

WhenPinnickfirstarrivedintheWudangMountains,hehadnoprevioustrainingormartialartsexperience,

sohebeganwithafive-yeartrainingprogram,learningthebasicsandallaboutTaoistculture.Pinnicksaidthe

firstsixmonthswerethehardestbecausehehadtotrainforeightorninehours,sixdaysaweek,whateverthe

temperatureoutside.

Afteroveradecadeofhardtraining,hehasmasteredvariousformsofChineseKungFu,includingTaiChi

andQigong,andhasbecomeaguidewithabout200apprenticesinChina.Thisyearisthe13thSpringFestival

thatPinnickhasspentinChina.HelikestheSpringFestivalandthetraditionshere,andhealsoteacheshis

daughter,SelinaLeePinnick,thesetraditions.

Asthenewyearbegins,peoplearestartingnewchaptersintheirlivesandmakingresolutions.Pinnickalso

hasmanyplansandwishes——heplanstomakemoreeffortstolearntheChineselanguagethisyear.Inadditionto
