英語閱讀一(ReadingI)課程基本信息課程編號:15062175h課程總學(xué)時:24實驗學(xué)時:學(xué)時課程性質(zhì):必修課程屬性:基礎(chǔ)類開設(shè)學(xué)期:第1學(xué)期適用專業(yè):商務(wù)英語對先修的要求:堅實的語言基礎(chǔ),一定的文化背景知識,正確有效的閱讀習(xí)慣對后續(xù)的支撐:通過上下文語境理解詞意和句意,掌握主旨和大意及事實與細(xì)節(jié)。一、課程的教學(xué)理念、性質(zhì)、目標(biāo)和任務(wù)“閱讀”是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課程之一,是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語綜合運用能力的重要組成部分,教學(xué)對象是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)一、二年級學(xué)生,總課時24學(xué)時。其教學(xué)內(nèi)容呈百科知識性,涉及英語國家的社會、政治、經(jīng)濟、文化、宗教、環(huán)保等各個領(lǐng)域;文體也呈多樣性,既有文學(xué)作品,又有記敘、說明、議論、新聞、廣告等語言風(fēng)格不同的各類文章。閱讀是英語專業(yè)的一門技能課程,主要是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力,提高學(xué)生的人文、科學(xué)素養(yǎng),同時兼顧聽、說、寫、譯等各項技能的發(fā)展和語言綜合運用能力的提高。本課程的教學(xué)內(nèi)容包括閱讀技巧、限時閱讀、閱讀理解和技巧應(yīng)用、鞏固詞匯知識等方面。教學(xué)目的在于通過閱讀課程的教學(xué),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣,提高學(xué)生的閱讀速度,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生細(xì)致觀察語言的能力及假設(shè)判斷、分析歸納、推理檢驗等邏輯思維能力;提高學(xué)生的閱讀技能,包括細(xì)讀、略讀、查閱等能力,提高學(xué)生單詞推斷能力,擴大詞匯量,通過向?qū)W生提供廣泛的語言和文化素材,增強學(xué)生的英語語感,擴大學(xué)生的知識面,吸收語言和文化背景知識,提高學(xué)生的語言綜合運用能力。二、課程教學(xué)的基本要求1.掌握各種閱讀技巧,如:contextcluestowordmeaning,understandingsentences,distinguishingtopicfrommainidea等等。2.擴大詞匯量。3.提高閱讀速度。4.提高理解能力。三、課程的教學(xué)設(shè)計1.教學(xué)設(shè)計說明依據(jù)英語專業(yè)培養(yǎng)計劃和方案,以教學(xué)大綱為綱要,樹立以學(xué)生為中心的教學(xué)理念,徹底改變以教師為中心的一言堂的教學(xué)模式;盡可能地發(fā)揮學(xué)生的能動性、創(chuàng)造性,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自主性、獨立性和合作精神。根據(jù)不同的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,嘗試采用靈活多樣的教學(xué)方式,如啟發(fā)式、討論式、研究式、輸出式等教學(xué)法,課堂上引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在積極主動的思維活動中獲取知識、掌握學(xué)習(xí)方法。2.課程目標(biāo)及對畢業(yè)要求的支撐序號課程目標(biāo)畢業(yè)要求1擴大詞匯量,有效提高閱讀速度和閱讀水平。(閱讀內(nèi)容由淺入深,閱讀材料由短漸長,句子結(jié)構(gòu)由簡單到復(fù)雜)12掌握閱讀技巧和方法。(細(xì)讀、略讀、查讀、改述)23增加英語國家社會文化背景知識。(社會、文化、教育、經(jīng)貿(mào)、歷史、文學(xué)、藝術(shù)、政治、體育、環(huán)境保護、風(fēng)土人情等)34發(fā)展思維,能對篇章進(jìn)行分析和評價。(區(qū)別觀點與事實、推理與判斷、批判性閱讀)4理論教學(xué)內(nèi)容及學(xué)時分配(共24學(xué)時)共12周,每周2學(xué)時;完成12個單元的教學(xué)。緒論學(xué)時數(shù):24英語閱讀是商務(wù)英語專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)階段必修課之一,教學(xué)對象為商務(wù)英語專業(yè)一、二年級學(xué)生。英語閱讀是學(xué)生掌握英語語言知識,打好語言基礎(chǔ),獲取信息的重要渠道。本課程由四冊構(gòu)成,每冊完成十二個單元的學(xué)習(xí),并系統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)閱讀技巧,每單元設(shè)有一個主題,每單元由SectionA,B,C組成。SectionA是課堂學(xué)習(xí)的重點,涉及訓(xùn)練學(xué)生閱讀速度的專項練習(xí),讀前準(zhǔn)備活動,TextI,閱讀理解和詞匯練習(xí);SectionB是快速閱讀,一般有四-五篇文章,要求學(xué)生在課堂十五分鐘內(nèi)完成。SectionC是TextII是涉及該主題的課文一篇,一般供學(xué)生課外完成。
