AbetterBottomLine

Anopenmindaboutdiversitynotonlyimprovesorganizationsinternally,it

showhowaninclusiveattitudecanimprovesales.||Mostofmycustomersspeak

Englishasasecondlanguage.Oneofthebestthingsmycompanyhasdoneis

tocontractwithalanguageservicethatofferstranslationsoverthephone.

Itwasn'tuntilmybossreceivedMindsets'trainingthatshewasableto

understandhowimportantinclusivenesswastocustomerservice.Asresult,

ourcustomerbasehasincreased.||Oncewestarttoseepeopleas

individuals.anddiscardthestereotypes,wecanmovepositivelytoward

inclusivenessforeveryone.Diversityisaboutcomingtogetherandtaking

advantageofourdifferencesandsimilarities.Itisaboutbuildingbetter

communitiesandorganizationsthatenhanceusasindividualsandreinforceour

sharedhumanity.

Whenwebegintoquestionourassumptionsandchallengewhatwethinkwehave

learnedfromourpast,fromthemedia,peers,family,friends,etc,we

begintorealizethatsomeofourconclusionsareflawed(有缺陷的)orcontrary
