Studentsareabletodesignapleteandreasonableweeklyclassschedule,includingcorrectlyarrangingsubjectnames,classtimes,andteacherinformation.
Throughthisproject,students'listening,speaking,reading,andwritingskillsinEnglishcanbeprehensivelytrainedandimproved.Forexample,theycanlistentoandunderstandothers'introductionsofclassschedules,clearlyexpresstheirownideasinspeaking,readrelevanttextsaboutclassschedulestoextractusefulinformation,andwriteashortpassagetointroducetheirclassschedules.

PresentthekeyvocabularyandsentencepatternsthatstudentswilluseinthisprojectonthePPT.Forvocabulary,inadditiontothenamesofschoolsubjects,alsointroducesomeadjectivestodescribesubjects,suchas"interesting","boring","difficult","easy","useful",etc.Forsentencepatterns,focuson"Myfavouritesubjectis...","Ilike...because...","Wehave...at...","ThereasonwhyIarrange...at...isthat...".Explaintheusageandmeaningofthesewordsandsentencepatternsindetail,andgivesomeexamplesforstudentstounderstand.
Letstudentsreadthesewordsandsentencepatternsaloudseveraltimestoensuretheycanpronouncethemcorrectly.Then,asksomestudentstomakesentencesusingthesewordsandsentencepatternsonthespot,andgivetimelyfeedbackandcorrection.

Walkaroundtheclassroom,listentothestudents'discussions,andprovidenecessaryguidanceandhelp.Ifsomegroupsencounterdifficultiesinmunicationorhavewrongideas,giveappropriatesuggestionsandcorrectthemintime.

Afterthegroupdiscussion,eachgroupstartstoformallydesigntheirweeklyclassschedulesonalargepieceofwhitepaper.Theyneedtowritedownthesubjectnamesclearly,marktheclasstimesaccurately(usingthe24hourclockformat,suchas8:008:45),andalsowritedownthenamesoftheteachersforeachsubject(theycanmakeupteachernamesiftheywant).Atthesametime,theyshouldusedifferentcolorsofpenstomaketheclassschedulemorevividandclear.
Duringthedesignprocess,studentscancontinuetomunicateandadjusttheirplanswithinthegroup.Teacherscanstillmovearoundtheclassroom,observingtheprogressofeachgroup,andprovidingassistanceintermsofEnglishexpressionordesignideasifneeded.

Eachgroupselectsarepresentativetoetothefrontoftheclassroomtopresenttheirdesignedclassschedules.TherepresentativeshoulduseEnglishtointroducethecontentoftheclassscheduleindetail,includingwhatsubjectsarearrangedeachday,whythesesubjectsarearrangedatspecifictimes,andwhattheyexpecttolearnfromeachsubject.Forexample,"OnMondaymorning,wehaveChineseat8:008:45.WechooseChineseatthistimebecauseitisthebeginningofanewweek,andChinesecanhelpuscultivateourlanguagesense.WehopetoimproveourreadingandwritingskillsinChineseclass."
Whiletherepresentativeofeachgroupispresenting,othergroupsshouldlistencarefully.Afterthepresentation,thelisteninggroupscanaskquestionsorgivesuggestionsinEnglish.Forexample,"WhydoyouarrangePEintheafternoon?Wouldn'titbebetterinthemorning?"or"Ithinkyourideaofarrangingscienceafterlunchisverycreative.Canyouexplainitinmoredetail?"Thepresentinggroupshouldanswerthesequestionspatiently.
