Secondly,ifIgobacktomyhomecity,Icanlookaftermyparents.Itakethisinto

considerationbecauseIamtheironlychildandtheyarenowweakandgettingonin

age.IfIliveinthesamecitywiththem,Icanvisitthemveryoftenandhelpthem

wheneveritisnecessary.

later.Also,thereisbelterpublictransportationsoitiseasiertogelaround.Icanfind

almostanythingIwanteasilyinthecity.Second,therearemorewaystospendleisure

timeinthecity.TherearemanyplacesIcangotomeetfriendsandhavefun.Finally,

andmostimportantly,thecityoffersmoreeducationalandcareeropportunities.The

cityoftenattractsthebestteachersandthebestcompanies.Thereisalsoav/ider

choiceofjobssoitiseasiertomoveupthecareerladder.

Forallofthesereasons,Iprefertoliveinthecity.AlthoughIsometimesmissthe

freshairandquietlifeofasmalltown,nothingcanmakeupfortheopportunitiesthat

thecityoffersme.Ifonewantstobesuccessful,Ibelievethebestplacetoliveisthe

city.

大城市里。

另外,城市里有很好的公共運(yùn)輸工具,到哪里都比較輕易。在城市里,我?guī)缀跄?/p>

夠輕易地找到任何我想要的東西。其次,在城市里有更多的方式消磨休閑時(shí)間。

有諸多地方能夠讓我去認(rèn)識(shí)朋友,并且玩得很開(kāi)心。最后,也是最重要的一點(diǎn)是,

城市提供更多教育及就業(yè)的機(jī)會(huì)。城市往往能吸引最佳的老師以及最佳的企業(yè)。

因?yàn)楣ぷ鳈C(jī)會(huì)比較廣泛,因此要升遷也比較輕易。

基于上述種種理由,我比較喜歡住在城市。雖然有時(shí)候我會(huì)想念小鎮(zhèn)新鮮的空氣

及安靜的生活,但沒(méi)有什么能夠填補(bǔ)城市提供應(yīng)我的機(jī)會(huì)。假如想要成功,我以

ofresearchersandinventorsmakingmajorbreakthroughswhiletheywereactually

tryingtosolveanotherproblemorcreateadifferentdevice.

Furthermore,thereissomethingtobesaidforsimplybeingintherightplaceatthe

righttime-perhapsmeetingsomeonebychancewhocanofferagoodjoborrare

opportunity.Andofcourse,therearctherareexamplesofgamblersandlottery

winnerswhobeattheoddsandachievesuddenandunexpectedsuccess.

Whiletheinfluenceofluckcannotbeignored,thisisnottosaythatoneshould

dependonitandignorethevalueofhardwork.Ifoneiswillingtoworkhard,I

believethatsuccesswilleventuallybeachieved,withorwithouttheaddedbenefitof

luck.Moreover,hardworkisoftenanessentialingredientofluckbecauseitenables

onetotakeadvantageofaluckyencounter.Ifthescientisthasnotworkedhardto

develophisknowledgeandskills,hemaynotrecognizethatluckybreakthroughwhen

itcomesalong.Therefore,mysuggestionisnottocountonlucktobringyousuccess.

Instead,workhardandkeepyoureyesopenforthatluckyopportunity.

有人說(shuō)一個(gè)人會(huì)成功是因?yàn)榕Γ\(yùn)氣和成功則是一點(diǎn)關(guān)系也沒(méi)有。雖然我相

信努力很重要,并且對(duì)大部分的人來(lái)說(shuō),努力是成功最可靠的措施,可是我不得
