ThisJapaneseIndustrialStandardhasbeenrevisedbytheMinisterofEconomy,TradeandIndustry,throughdeliberationsattheJapaneseIndustrialStandardsCommitteeastheresultofproposalforrevisionofJapaneseIndustrialStandardsubmittedbyTheJapanIronandSteelFederation(JISF)withthedraftbeingattached,basedontheprovisionofArticle12Clause1oftheIndustrialStandardizationLawapplicabletothecaseofrevisionbytheprovisionofArticle14.

ConsequentlyJISG3312:2013isreplacedwiththisStandard.

However,JISG3312:2013maybeappliedintheJISmarkcertificationbasedontherelevantprovisionsofArticle19Clause1,etc.oftheIndus-trialStandardizationLawuntilJune19,2020.

1Scope

ThisJapaneseIndustrialStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheprepaintedhot-dipzinc-coatedsteelsheet(hereafterreferredtoassheets)andprepaintedhot-dipzinc-coatedsteelstrip(hereafterreferredtoascoils),whichareproducedbyapplyingsyn-theticresinpaintwithbakingfinishonthehot-dipzinc-coatedsteelsheetandstripaswellasrequirementsforthecorrugatedsheetprocessedintotheshapeanddimensionsasspecifiedinJISG3316(hereafterreferredtoascorrugatedsheets).

9Expressionofdimensions

9.1Denominationofthickness

Thedenominationofthicknessofsheets,coilsandcorrugatedsheetsshallbeasfol-lows.Forcorrugatedsheets,thefollowingdenominationsofthicknessshallbeappliedtopre-corrugatedsheets.

a)Nominalthicknessreferstothethicknessofthecold-reducedbasemetalbeforeap-plyingcoatingonthesubstrateforprepainting.

NOTE"Nominalthickness"asdefinedinthisStandardisequivalenttothe

"nominalthickness"specifiedinJISG3302.

Thetolerancesonwidthofthesheetsandcoilsandonlengthofthesheetsandcor-rugatedsheetsshallbeasgiveninTable12.Thetolerancesonwidthofcorrugatedsheetshallbeasspecifiedin4.5ofJISG3316.

ThetotalrangeoftolerancesonwidthandlengthgiveninTable12maybeshiftedtotheminussideuponagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthemanufacturer.Inthiscase,theupperlimitvalueoftheagreedtoleranceshallnotbelowerthanzero.
