4、是否”。如: I dont know whether(=if)I should tell him. 我不知道是否應該告訴他。 但兩者也有微妙的差別: 在動詞不定式之前只能用whether 。如: I cant decide whether to stay. 我不能決定是否留下。 在whether or not 的固定搭配中。如: I want to know whether its good news or not . 我想知道是否是好消息。 在介詞后,只能用whether。如: His father is worried about whether he lose his work . 他的
5、父親擔心是否會失去工作。 賓語從句放在句首表示強調時,只能用whether 。如: Whether this is true or not, I really dont know. 這是否真的,我真的不知道。用if會引起歧義時,只用whether。如: 例12 Could you tell me if you know the answer ? 這句話有兩種意思:“你能告訴我是否知道答案嗎?”或“如果你知道答案,請告訴我,好嗎?”。如用whether可避免歧義.2.I know that foreigners find China very different from their own c

8、 and her friends to visit Radio Beijing. invite sb to+地點 如,He invited us to the museum. invite sb to do sth 如,Mary invited her friend to go to the concert.My friend invited me _(have) dinner.四、語法聚焦:1.本模塊的重點語法賓語從句。2.概念:一般情況下,放在動詞或介詞后面的句子,叫賓語從句.3.賓語從句根據(jù)其表達意義的肯定與疑問的差別可分為三類,一類由that 引導,一類由whether/if 引導,還
9、有一類由疑問詞引導.4.that引導的賓語從句:當謂語動詞表示肯定的概念時,后面的句子一般用that引導,that沒有任何意義,只具有語法功能. 有時,that可省。5.whetherif引導的賓語從句:如果我們表達一個不確定的概念時,如記不清,不知道,問,想知道等,就要用whether/if來連接,一般情況下,兩個都可以用.但如果后面有or not的話,一般要選用whether,構成whetheror not的結構.賓語從句除了用that,if,whether引導外,我們還可以用when,where,how,why等疑問詞連接.6.賓語從句三要素:引導詞,語序,時態(tài)語序:從句用陳述句語序。時
10、態(tài):如果主句是一般現(xiàn)在時,從句可以用任意時態(tài)。如果主句是一般過去時,從句用過去的時態(tài)。有一種情況特殊,如果從句是表示客觀真理,不管主句是什么時態(tài),從句都應用一般現(xiàn)在時。五、語法專練(一)句型轉換1. I dont know which I should buy.(同上) I dont know .2.
