1、基礎英語課程標準課程代碼:062003課程名稱: 基礎英語課程類型:必修 課程屬類:專業(yè)基礎課程 課程學分:16計劃課時:256學時適用專業(yè): 英語本科制訂時間: 職業(yè)資格: 教師資格、翻譯類工作資格開課部門: 外國語學院英語系一、課程概述(一)課程性質基礎英語課程是英語專業(yè)基礎階段一二年級學生的專業(yè)基礎課程。根據高等學校英語專業(yè)英語教學大綱的“英語專業(yè)課程描述”,基礎英語課程是一門綜合英語技能課程,主要培養(yǎng)學生英語聽說讀寫譯的基本功,對學生進行全面的、嚴格的聽說讀寫語言基本技能訓練,奠定良好的英語語言基礎。同時,它是高級英語的先導課程,并對高年級其它課程學習,如英美文學、翻譯理論與實踐、語言
2、學、詞匯學、英語國家文化等,起非常重要的鋪墊作用。基礎英語注重培養(yǎng)和提高學生綜合運用英語的能力,并為學生順利通過全國英語專業(yè)四級統(tǒng)考奠定基礎。(二)課程定位基礎英語課程以提高學生的英語基礎知識為中心,通過課內外的練習和討論加強對英語聽說、詞匯、語法、閱讀、寫作、翻譯等知識的掌握,提高學生聽、說、讀、寫、譯綜合能力,切實地為學生大三、大四的專業(yè)英語學習奠定堅實基礎。根據我校英語專業(yè)本科師范學生的特點,以就業(yè)為導向,教學以學生為中心,培養(yǎng)有扎實英語基礎,能獨立思考并用英語來表達思想的高技能高素質的英語人才。后續(xù)課程:高級英語、翻譯理論與實踐、英美文學、語言學、詞匯學、英語國家文化、學術論文寫作等。
3、(三)課程設計思路1、基礎英語課程應該以現代外語教學理論為指導,以遵循語言教學和語言習得的客觀規(guī)律為前提,集多種教學模式和教學手段為一體。依據本科師范生的培養(yǎng)目標,在幫助學生打好語言基礎的同時,重視培養(yǎng)學生英語實際應用和交際能力,注重語言技能輸入和產出的訓練,為學生高年級各門英語課程的學習打下厚實的基礎。2、堅持以人為本,關注學生情感,激發(fā)學生學習英語的興趣,注重培養(yǎng)和提高學生的自主學習能力,為學生提供自主學習資源,在幫助其形成有效的學習策略的同時,提高他們的創(chuàng)新意識、創(chuàng)新能力、應用能力、分析和解決問題能力。3、注重學生的語言實踐活動。堅持以學生為中心、以教師為主導的教學原則,運用交際為目的、
4、師生互動的教學方法,充分調動、發(fā)揮學生主體性,培養(yǎng)學生參與課堂教學實踐活動的意識和習慣。同時最大限度地超越課堂和語言學習的限制,使教與學延伸和拓展至課本知識之外,盡可能地拉近課堂與社會實踐的距離,使學生掌握實際工作英語交際本領,為學生步入社會打下良好的基礎。4、充分運用多媒體、網絡等現代化教育技術,采用全方位、立體化、網絡化的教學手段,提高教學效率和教學質量;充分利用互聯(lián)網豐富的英語教學資源,創(chuàng)造良好的英語學習環(huán)境,逐步形成完整合理的教學體系。5、創(chuàng)建客觀高效的考核評價模式。對學生能力的評估實行具有綜合性和全方位性的形成性評價與終結性評價相結合的方式,客觀考核學生學習情況。二、課程目標(一)課
5、程工作任務目標基礎英語課程劃分為第一學年和第二學年兩個階段。第一學年主要目標是傳授英語語音、詞匯、語法、句法、篇章結構等基礎知識,對學生進行全面的、嚴格的聽、說、讀、寫、譯基本技能訓練,使學生學會運用英語進行一般交際,培養(yǎng)學生形成良好的學習習慣及邏輯思維能力。第二學年主要目標是加強英語各項技能的綜合訓練,提高學生的邏輯思維及判斷能力,培養(yǎng)和強化跨文化意識,使學生能夠把握英語篇章主旨、文體修辭、語言技巧,學會使用工具書獲取所需信息,獨立完成規(guī)定的學習任務,在英語知識、應用技能及文化素質方面得到提高,為三、四年級的進一步學習打下堅實的基礎。(二)職業(yè)能力目標經過四個學期的基礎英語課程學習,配合英語
6、口語、語音、語法、聽力、閱讀、英語國家概況等課程學習,學生應該掌握英語語音、詞匯、語法、句法、修辭、語篇等基本語言知識,并逐步提高語篇閱讀理解能力,了解英語各種文體的表達方式和特點,擴大詞匯量和熟悉英語常用句型,具備基本的口頭與筆頭表達能力,了解英語國家文化背景差異,掌握一些跨文化交際知識與交際策略,為最終能夠熟練運用語言基礎知識、語言技巧及跨文化交際能力來處理日常工作中的事情和解決實際問題打好堅實的語言能力和交際能力基礎。語言水平測試能達到英語專業(yè)四級水平。 職業(yè)資格證書考核目標 全國高校英語專業(yè)四級水平考試及格證書。課程教學內容及學時安排基礎英語課程使用教材為新編英語教程(第三版)1-4冊
