It appealed to the child and offered more prayers.At last the child grew tired of this amusement and turned toward home. The dog lay on its back and kept its eyes upon the retreating form. Soon it struggled to its

6、feet and started to go after the child. On the way his home the child turned many times and beat the dog, but it continued secretly to follow the child. When the child reached his door-step, the dog became so excited with shame when it again faced the child that it forgot the dragging rope. It walke
