好像是在一次電話采訪中,一個記者曾經(jīng)問過我一個很好玩的問題:李連杰,你這些年都是一帆風(fēng)順,你是怎么變得這么強大的呢?
這位記者,采訪我之前肯定沒做過認(rèn)真的準(zhǔn)備。首先,我從來不是一帆風(fēng)順,我在朋友中有個外號,叫”死過一百次的生還者“。從小我父親就過世了,家境實在太差,只好加入武術(shù)隊,靠每個月微薄的補貼養(yǎng)活全家;11歲開始我連續(xù)5次拿到全國武術(shù)比賽冠軍,18歲拍了《少林寺》一夜成名,但立馬,第二年我就摔斷了腿,差點成為廢人;好不容易等到《黃飛鴻》系列電影大賣,我的經(jīng)紀(jì)人又遭黑道槍殺,事業(yè)再次陷入低谷......這些都不說,2004年印尼海嘯時,我差點妻離子散命喪異地,當(dāng)洪水就在你眼前肆虐時,那種內(nèi)心的驚恐與不舍,又有多少人面對過呢?
也可以理解,問這個問題的人估計從來都只是在電影中了解我,覺得我就是電影中那些硬漢,身懷絕技,從精神到肉體都是天生的強大.事實上,我只是一個血肉做成的普通人,甚至,我比很多人還脆弱,有一段時間,我天天想著出家當(dāng)和尚。
但是,少林寺的一位高僧卻不同意我這樣做,因為出家并不能從根本上解決問題佛家還講究入世修行呢!后來,我去好萊塢發(fā)展時,他要我記住一句話:一切困難都是為了幫自已變得更強大!
這話聽起來實在不像是什么祝福。果然,到了好萊塢,事情并不順利,雖然臺灣老板楊登魁花了上億元幫我打造形象,創(chuàng)造機會,但傲慢的好萊塢并不肯接納我這個身高才170CM的華人。我忍著,直到一次在片場,導(dǎo)演把劇本摔到我臉上,冷冷地問我:你是不是不懂英文,所以劇本沒看懂?
那個晚上,我打電話給那位高僧。他淡淡地說:這些年你吃了不少苦頭,但回過頭來想一想,是現(xiàn)在的你強大,還是過去的你強大?我一愣,想著自已這半生的經(jīng)歷,的確,那些困難現(xiàn)在看起來都不值一提了,可當(dāng)時,又何嘗不是逼得自已無路可逃?可見,困難的確在讓我變得強大,至少,讓我的承受能力越來越強!
從那以后,我不再懼怕任何困境,對困境內(nèi)外甚至抱著一種“歡迎”的態(tài)度。朋友都說我瘋魔了,但我心里知道,這不過是在困難中修煉自已。
拍攝《英雄》的那段時間,章子怡很是受非議,甚至在劇組中也被某些人孤立。在她身上我看到了剛出道的自已:沖動、愛憎分明,心里有什么臉上從來藏不住......于是,我把自的體驗告訴她,慢慢地,她也從流言中脫胎換骨,開始表現(xiàn)出一個堅強的章小妹。
這兩年,我對武術(shù)之道越來越有想法,很想和觀眾分享這種想法,于是,我請人編寫了宣揚和平的電影《西藏武僧在紐約》。很多片商對名字很感興趣,但一看劇本就都不肯投資,因為里面的武打場面太少了,不夠商業(yè)化。到哪里去找投資商?每晚這個問題都折磨得我無法入睡,實在沒辦法了,我找到法國的著名導(dǎo)演呂克貝松,想自掏腰包自已拍。拍完后,我看電影前90分鐘十分精彩脫俗,但后30分鐘就落入了武打片的俗套,就要求改結(jié)尾,別人都覺得我瘋了,改結(jié)尾是自殺行為,會讓票房一落千丈。呂克貝松也十分驚奇地問我:“你真想得罪你所有的觀眾嗎?”我笑著說:“那就試一次吧?!?/p>
事實是,電影還沒有公開放映,就受到了不少電影專家和媒體的關(guān)注,慢慢地,隨著《霍元甲》的再度追擊,大家也開始知道:哦,原來李連杰并不是一個武打機器,他也是有自已的想法的;中華武術(shù)除了實用外,里面還有博大精深的東西??!
這就是我的目的。既要表達內(nèi)心、又要保證票房,的確是一件太困難的事,但我知道,困境總會過去,而經(jīng)歷困境的人,卻在這個過程中變得更樂觀、更有力量。

Whenthegirlscamehomeforthesummerholidaysof1913,whenHildawastwentyandConnieeighteen,theirfathercouldseeplainlythattheyhadhadtheloveexperience.

TheywereratherearnestabouttheTommies,andthethreatofconscription,andtheshortageofsugarandtoffeeforthechildren.Inallthesethings,ofcourse,theauthoritieswereridiculouslyatfault.ButCliffordcouldnottakeittoheart.Tohimtheauthoritieswereridiculousabovo,notbecauseoftoffeeorTommies.
Andtheauthoritiesfeltridiculous,andbehavedinaratherridiculousfashion,anditwasallamadhatter'stea-partyforawhile.Tillthingsdevelopedoverthere,andLloydGeorgecametosavethesituationoverhere.Andthissurpassedevenridicule72,theflippantyounglaughednomore.

從那以后,我不再懼怕任何困境,對困境內(nèi)外甚至抱著一種“歡迎”的態(tài)度。朋友都說我瘋魔了,但我心里知道,這不過是在困難中修煉自已。
拍攝《英雄》的那段時間,章子怡很是受非議,甚至在劇組中也被某些人孤立。在她身上我看到了剛出道的自已:沖動、愛憎分明,心里有什么臉上從來藏不住......于是,我把自的體驗告訴她,慢慢地,她也從流言中脫胎換骨,開始表現(xiàn)出一個堅強的章小妹。
這兩年,我對武術(shù)之道越來越有想法,很想和觀眾分享這種想法,于是,我請人編寫了宣揚和平的電影《西藏武僧在紐約》。很多片商對名字很感興趣,但一看劇本就都不肯投資,因為里面的武打場面太少了,不夠商業(yè)化。到哪里去找投資商?每晚這個問題都折磨得我無法入睡,實在沒辦法了,我找到法國的著名導(dǎo)演呂克貝松,想自掏腰包自已拍。拍完后,我看電影前90分鐘十分精彩脫俗,但后30分鐘就落入了武打片的俗套,就要求改結(jié)尾,別人都覺得我瘋了,改結(jié)尾是自殺行為,會讓票房一落千丈。呂克貝松也十分驚奇地問我:“你真想得罪你所有的觀眾嗎?”我笑著說:“那就試一次吧?!?/p>
事實是,電影還沒有公開放映,就受到了不少電影專家和媒體的關(guān)注,慢慢地,隨著《霍元甲》的再度追擊,大家也開始知道:哦,原來李連杰并不是一個武打機器,他也是有自已的想法的;中華武術(shù)除了實用外,里面還有博大精深的東西??!
這就是我的目的。既要表達內(nèi)心、又要保證票房,的確是一件太困難的事,但我知道,困境總會過去,而經(jīng)歷困境的人,卻在這個過程中變得更樂觀、更有力量。
好像是在一次電話采訪中,一個記者曾經(jīng)問過我一個很好玩的問s,somesayshequotedeverybookofthebiblebymemoryandiBothsistershadhadtheirloveexperiencebythetimethewarcame,andtheywerehurriedhome.Neitherwaseverinlovewithayoungmanunlessheandshewereverballyverynear:thatisunlesstheywereprofoundlyinterested,TALKINGtooneanother.Theamazing,theprofound,theunbelievablethrilltherewasinpassionatelytalkingtosomereallycleveryoungmanbythehour,resumingdayafterdayformonths...thistheyhadneverrealizedtillithappened!Theparadisalpromise:Thoushalthavementotalkto!---hadneverbeenuttered.Itwasfulfilledbeforetheyknewwhatapromiseitwas.
Andifaftertherousedintimacy39ofthesevividandsoul-enlighteneddiscussionsthesexthingbecamemoreorlessinevitable40,thenletit.Itmarkedtheendofachapter.Ithadathrillofitsowntoo:aqueervibratingthrillinsidethebody,afinalspasm41ofself-assertion,likethelastword,exciting,andveryliketherowofasterisks42thatcanbeputtoshowtheendofaparagraph,andabreakinthetheme.
Whenthegirlscamehomeforthesummerholidaysof1913,whenHildawastwentyandConnieeighteen,theirfathercouldseeplainlythattheyhadhadtheloveexperience.

TheywereratherearnestabouttheTommies,andthethreatofconscription,andtheshortageofsugarandtoffeeforthechildren.Inallthesethings,ofcourse,theauthoritieswereridiculouslyatfault.ButCliffordcouldnottakeittoheart.Tohimtheauthoritieswereridiculousabovo,notbecauseoftoffeeorTommies.
Andtheauthoritiesfeltridiculous,andbehavedinaratherridiculousfashion,anditwasallamadhatter'stea-partyforawhile.Tillthingsdevelopedoverthere,andLloydGeorgecametosavethesituationoverhere.Andthissurpassedevenridicule72,theflippantyounglaughednomore.
