Asstudents,wecouldsharemoretimewithourfriends.Thefriendshipinouryoungheartsispure,freshandsimple.Ioftenfeelveryluckytohavealotofgoodfriends.EspeciallywhenIhadJustinasoneofmybestfriends.JustinwasmyEnglishteacherfromtheUSA.Imethimin1996whenIwasastudentwhocouldonlyspeakverylittleEnglish.Justinwasavividyoungmanwithabrightsmileonhisface,andhealwayshadhisspecialwaytomaketheclassactiveandattractive.HetaughtusEnglishbytellingstories,playinggames,singingsongs,andevendancing.

Icouldstillrememberveryclearlythatoneafternoonwhenwefin-ishedourclass,wewenttosomeotherclassestosingsongsforthem,justlikewhatpeopledointhestatesonChristmasEve.Itwassointerestingandunforgettable.Justinwasanexcellentteacher,becausehetaughtusnotonlyhowtostudyEnglishwell,butalsothewaytofindoutthebeautyoftheworldandthewaytobeangelstoothers'lives.Iknowtherewasfriendshipandpureloveinourhearts.Facingthisvaluableemotionneithernationalitynoragewasimportant,therealimportancelayinfaith,under-standing,andcare.JustinisthebestfriendIhaveeverhad,andIknowIwillcherishthosedaysofstayingtogetherwithhimasthebestpartofmymemory.

Friendshipisakindoftreasureinourlives.Itisactuallylikeabottleofwine,thelongeritiskept,thesweeteritwillbe.Itisalsolikeacupoftea.Whenwearethirsty,itwillbeourbestchoice,butwhenwehaveenoughtimetoenjoyourselves,itisalsothemostfragrantdrink.

However,inthisfast-developingmodernsociety,therealityisnotthat.Moreandmorepeopleforgettoenjoythebeautyoflifeand-thebeautyoffriendship.Theyworkhardinordertogainahigherposition,inthesocietyandtoearnmoremoneyfortheirwork.Ofcourse,wedon'tdenythatitisimportanttofindabet-terplaceinourlives,butwewishmoreandmorepeoplecouldpayalittlemoreattentionto

themselvesandtheirfriends.Allofushavetosparesometimeforpersonallives.Wehavetofindthechancetoexpressouremotionandlove.Whenstayingwithourfriends,wecanreleaseourselvescompletely.Wecandowhateverwewant,wecanlaughtogether,talktogether,andevencryto-gether.Ishouldsaythatbeingtogetherwithourbestfriendsisthemostwonderfulmomentofourlives.

Asweknow,wewouldfeellonelyifwedidn'tevenhaveafriend.Butitdoesn'tmeanwecoulddependonourfriendsallthetime.Thereisafamousmottosayingthat“Afriendislikeaquiltwithcottonwadding,buttherealthingthatkeepsyouwarmisyourowntemperature.”Itisreallytrue.Wehavetoworkhardtogetherwithourfriends,encourageeachotherandhelpeachother.Whenwereceiveloveandfriendship,weshouldrepayasmuchaswecan.

尊敬的老師，友愛的同學(xué)們：

大家好！

我叫xx。這次我很榮幸能站在講臺上進(jìn)行英語科代表的競選。這次，我要通過我的努力，成為老師的助手，同學(xué)的榜樣，我信任我肯定能競選上英語科代表這個職務(wù)。

雖然我是一名中同學(xué)，但是我寵愛英語，成果更是在班里名列前茅。甚至有時候玩嬉戲我都玩英語的，雖然有些我不會念，但漸漸來，總是能學(xué)會的。再說了，這幾年我始終都是英語課代表，有一些閱歷，我有責(zé)任、有力量為英語老師做好我力所能及的工作。

一個人最可憐的是無知，最可悲的是自私，最可敬的是拼搏。不管我競選勝利與否，我都會讓自私、無知與我無緣。只有那一股子拼勁，為大家，為班級做事。我在每次的英語考試中都能達(dá)到95分以上，成果很不錯，此外，我有著劇烈的'責(zé)任心，有豐富的閱歷，可以關(guān)心老師做一些力所能及的事。假如我競選勝利，我肯定會全心全意地為同學(xué)服務(wù)。每天早上，我會帶領(lǐng)同學(xué)們進(jìn)行早讀，并把同學(xué)的作業(yè)收齊。

我不僅英語學(xué)習(xí)成果好，而且我做的英文海報和我的英語書寫，也是很厲害的！我在業(yè)余時間里或假期里，我喜愛看英語報、讀英文書、唱英文歌……

我從二班級到五班級，都是英語課代表，所以我有決心和閱歷來擔(dān)當(dāng)英語課代表這個職責(zé)。雖然我的口語力量還有待提高，但是我會連續(xù)努力的！

假如我當(dāng)上了英語課代表，我會盡力為老師和同學(xué)服務(wù)！

在課上，我會帶頭樂觀舉手發(fā)言；課下，假如有同學(xué)來問我不會的題，我也肯定會急躁爽快地回答。假如遇到了一些難題，我會組織其他的同學(xué)共同探討，并尋求老師的關(guān)心。正由于如此，我有信念做好一名英語科代表。

假如我落選了，我也不會難過，由于那說明我還有很多缺點，我將連續(xù)自我完善，由于每一個失敗都會提示我下次努力。俗話說“失敗乃勝利之母“，我還會連續(xù)努力，找出自己的不足并準(zhǔn)時改正，爭取下次能競選上。

WhenIwas10yearsold,Ibecameashot-putathlete.Thetrainingwasreallyhard,Icouldn'tbeartheheavyshotinmyhands.ButIalwaysbelievethat"godonlyhelpthosewhohelpthemselves".Duringthoseharddays,IfindIwasgrowingmorequicklythanothersofthesameage.Tobeanathleteismymostcorrectchoice.But,Iquitmyteamafterenteringhighschoolbecauseofasillyexcuse.Ireallydidn'twanttostopmysportscareeranyway.
