簡介：

為指導我校非英語專業(yè)大學英語教學，以上外和高教出版社出版的《大學英語教學大綱》及《高等學校英語應用能力考試大綱》為依據(jù)，特制定我?！缎乱曇按髮W英語》第四冊教學大綱，作為教學安排、教案編寫、教學質量檢查的依據(jù)。

一、教學對象:

本大綱的教學對象是我校非英語專業(yè)二年級的學生。通過三個學期的英語學習，他們已經(jīng)掌握了基本的英語語音和語法知識，并在讀、聽、寫、說、等方面受過初步的訓練。已具有一定的自學能力?！缎乱曇按髮W英語》第四冊精讀教材涉及詞匯9000詞左右，泛讀量為38，000詞左右，基本達到《大學英語教學大綱》對四級詞匯的要求。

二、教學目的:

《新視野大學英語》第四冊的教學目的是：使多數(shù)學生能達到實用英語應用能力A級水平。培養(yǎng)學生英語綜合應用能力，使他們具有較強的閱讀能力和一定的聽、說、讀、寫、譯能力，使他們在今后工作和社會交往中能用英語有效地進行口頭和書面的信息交流。幫助學生打下扎實的語言基礎，掌握良好的語言學習方法，同時增強其自主學習能力、提高綜合文化素養(yǎng)，以適應我國經(jīng)濟發(fā)展和國際交流的需要。

三、課時安排:

《新視野大學英語》第四冊用于我校非英語專業(yè)二年級的學生的第四學期英語學習，每周兩個課時，共22個課時。

四、教學要求:

1）課文：

該階段的教學對10篇A課文的內(nèi)容進行精講精練，要求學生能夠很好地理解10篇A課文內(nèi)容，記住大多數(shù)所學單詞，短語以及某些表達法。對課文B和C要求學生自學，領會式理解?；具_到高等學校英語應用能力考試A級水平。

2）詞匯

領會式掌握3877單詞（其中復用式掌握的單詞為1600），以及由這些詞構成的常用詞組（中學所掌握的單詞和詞組包括在內(nèi)），并具有按照構詞法識別生詞的能力。

3）語法

鞏固和加深基本語法知識，加強對虛擬語氣，長句，復合句的訓練，提高在語篇水平上運用語法知識的能力。

4）閱讀能力

能順利閱讀語言難度較高的一般性題材的文章，掌握中心大意以及說明中心大意的事實和細節(jié)，并能就文章的內(nèi)容進行分析、推理、判斷和綜合概括，領會的觀點和態(tài)度，閱讀速度達到每分鐘80詞。在閱讀篇幅較長、難度略低、生詞不超過總詞數(shù)5%的材料時，能正確理解中心大意，抓住主要有關細節(jié)，閱讀速度達到每分鐘100詞。

5）聽的能力

對題材熟悉、句子結構不太復雜、生詞少、語速為每分鐘80--100詞的篇幅較長的會話、談話、報道和講座，能掌握其中心大意，抓住要點和有關細節(jié)，領會講話者的觀點和態(tài)度，并能進行分析、推理和判斷。

6）說的能力

能就教材內(nèi)容和一般的聽力材料進行問答和討論，能就一般的社會生活話題進行簡單的交談、討論和發(fā)言，表達思想清楚，語音、語調基本正確。

7）寫的能力

能在閱讀難度與可聞相仿的書面材料時做筆記、回答問題、寫提綱和

高大學生的聽、說、寫、譯等技能已越來越重要。同時，英語應用能力是各種語言技能的綜合反映，這些技能是相輔相成、互相促進的。在具體的教學過程中，讀、聽、說、寫、譯的訓練可以根據(jù)學生的特點和需要有所側重，但要做到協(xié)調發(fā)展。在培養(yǎng)讀、聽、說、寫、譯各項技能時，既要強調掌握和應用語言知識的準確性，又要注意應用語言時的流利程度和得體性。

（四）結合實際確定教學方法

國內(nèi)外出現(xiàn)的各種外語教學法無一不是特定環(huán)境下的產(chǎn)物。我們需要學習國外的先進經(jīng)驗和方法，妥善處理好借鑒與繼承的關系，立足于我國的國情和教學實際，探索出具有中國特色的大學英語教學的新路子。

教學法直接影響教學質量。教師應根據(jù)不同的教學對象、不同階段的不同教學要求，采用靈活機動、切合實際的教學方法，從而使學生得到最大的收益。

外語學習歸根結底是學生自身的學習。課堂是學生語言實踐的重要場所。課堂教學不僅要擴大學生的語言知識，加強和提高學生的語言應用能力，還要幫助學生養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣，培養(yǎng)自學能力。要讓學生懂得外語課是一門實踐課，要求學生主動參與，積極實踐，不斷積累，持之以恒。

（五）重視教材在教學中的作用

教材是實現(xiàn)教學大綱所確定的教學目標的重要保證。為了打好語言基礎，培養(yǎng)語言應用能力，提高文化素養(yǎng)，教材可以為課堂教學提供最佳的語言樣本和有系統(tǒng)性、有針對性的語言實踐活動的材料。教師要充分利用教材所提供的語言教材組織好課堂教學和指導學生課外自學。

（六）妥善處理測試和教學的關系

測試是貫徹執(zhí)行教學大綱的重要保證?？茖W的測試結果可以為教學提供良好的反饋，幫助教師了解教學效果，改進教學方法，提高教學質量；還可以幫助學生了解自己的學習情況，改進學習方法。因此，測試應以大綱要求和教學內(nèi)容為基本依據(jù)。教學中，應注重學生實際語言應用能力的培養(yǎng)；測試中，要著重考核語言基礎和語言應用能力，要采用一定比例的主觀試題。務必防止應試教學傾向。

（七）創(chuàng)造良好的語言環(huán)境，充分利用現(xiàn)代化的教學手段

開展豐富多彩的英語課外活動有利于提高學生學習英語的興趣和積極性。因此，要積極優(yōu)化校園英語學習環(huán)境，通過英語報刊、英語廣播、英語角、英語演講、等形式多樣的課外活動，使學生有更多的接觸英語的機會。

應采取積極措施，創(chuàng)造條件，大力推廣、合理使用，設法利用現(xiàn)代化的教學手段（如錄音、錄像、電影、電視、網(wǎng)絡以及多媒體課件），提高大學英語教學質量。
