廣義含義：黨政機(jī)關(guān)、社會(huì)團(tuán)體、企事業(yè)單位為處理公務(wù)而形成的文字材料狹義含義：黨政機(jī)關(guān)處理公務(wù)時(shí)使用的公文公文含義5公文：即公務(wù)文書公文含義5二·公文文體的特點(diǎn)及要求6二·公文文體的特點(diǎn)及要求6公文的特點(diǎn)措詞準(zhǔn)確。發(fā)布公文的目的一般在于解釋或闡明公文發(fā)布者的立場、觀點(diǎn)或政策、措施，因此公文在措詞上必須準(zhǔn)確明晰，切忌模棱兩可或含糊晦澀。用詞正式，且多古體詞。公文作為政府或職能部門所發(fā)布的文章，需具有其權(quán)威性、規(guī)范性。（如hereinafter,hereof,herewith等等）。7公文的特點(diǎn)措詞準(zhǔn)確。發(fā)布公文的目的一般在于解釋或闡明公文公文的特點(diǎn)長句、復(fù)雜句較多。公文體為使其邏輯嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，表意準(zhǔn)確，在句法上常常疊床架屋，以至使得句式有時(shí)顯得臃腫遲滯，同時(shí)句子的長度也大為增加。普通詞多有特定意義。許多普通的詞在公文體中常常具有其特定的意義。如allowance一詞通常指"允許"、"津貼"，而在經(jīng)貿(mào)合同中則多指"折扣".8公文的特點(diǎn)長句、復(fù)雜句較多。公文體為使其邏輯嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)，表意準(zhǔn)確，公文翻譯的要求公文問題一般都是書面語，因此在翻譯是要嚴(yán)肅認(rèn)真，反復(fù)閱讀，細(xì)心領(lǐng)悟原文的精神。
