What:ThetopicofthisunitisUnderstandingeachother,belongingtothethemeHumanandSociety,categorizedintothethematiccluster——interpersonalmunication.Thereadingtextofthisunitisalecturetranscriptabouttheprocessofmunicationandhowtoachieveeffectivemunicationfromthreeaspects.

Why:Itaimstoimprovestudents’abilitytoeffectivelymunicatewithothersandcultivatetheawarenessofthevalueofempathyintheirmunication.

How:Studentswillbeguidedtofigureoutthethreeelementsofeffectivemuincationthroughthereadingtasksandencouragedtoapplythesetipstodailyandcrossculturalmunication.

Analysisofthe

ThisclassisintendedforSeniortwostudents.Atthisstage,moststudentsalreadyhaveagoodmandofbasicreadingstrategieslikeskimmingandscanningtogetthemainideaormoredetailedinformation.Butstudentsintheclassarenotatthesamelevel.Asteachers,wecanprovideascaffoldtohelpstudentsimprovethemselvesandgofurthertoahigherlevel,orwecansaytheZPDthezoneofproximaldevelopmentsothatlearnerscanachievemorewithguidance.
