going

another

next

week.我是校隊(duì)成員,下周我們就要和另外一所學(xué)校比賽了。

against是介詞,意為“(在比賽或者戰(zhàn)斗中)對(duì)抗(某人、某隊(duì)或某事物等)”,常用于play,

fight等動(dòng)詞之后。against

還意為“反對(duì);逆著,依靠;碰撞”。例如:

that的同義短語為in

order

that。例如:

succeed.他們努力工作,為了能夠獲得成功。(3)【辨析】arrive,reach,get①arrive為不及物動(dòng)詞,與at搭配,用于較小的場所,如學(xué)校、家、車站等;與in搭配,用于較大的地方,如國家、城市等。例如:Ioftenarriveatschoolat8:00.我通常8:00到校。WearrivedinShanghailastnight.我們昨晚到達(dá)上海。②reach為及物動(dòng)詞,后面直接跟地點(diǎn)名詞。例如:Whendidyoureachthepark你們什么時(shí)候到公園的?③get為不及物動(dòng)詞,需接to之后再接地點(diǎn)名詞。例如:HowcanIgettothezoo我該怎么去動(dòng)物園?

【注意】arrive

和get

后面接home,

here,

there等表示地點(diǎn)的副詞時(shí),不加介詞。例如:

Lily

harder

than

usual

because

the

other

team

beat

us

last

year.我們比平時(shí)更加努力地訓(xùn)練,因?yàn)榱硪恢蜿?duì)去年打敗過我們。

(1)train在此處用作不及物動(dòng)詞,意為“(體育)訓(xùn)練,操練”;train也可以用作及物動(dòng)詞。train

還可作可數(shù)名詞,意為“火車”。例如:

(2)【辨析】beat,

win,

lose

beat作及物動(dòng)詞,意為“打敗,戰(zhàn)勝”,后接人或團(tuán)隊(duì)。beat

sb.

意為“打敗某人”。例如:

The

Chinese

team

beat

the

Japanese

team

in

the

game.在這場比賽中,中國隊(duì)?wèi)?zhàn)勝了日本隊(duì)。

②win

作及物動(dòng)詞和不及物動(dòng)詞,意為“贏,獲勝”,一般其后接物或比賽(如戰(zhàn)爭、獎(jiǎng)杯、獎(jiǎng)牌、比賽、游戲等名詞),但不可接人作賓語。例如:

作不及物動(dòng)詞,常用于短語lose
