Heprepareshisschoolbagforthenextdaybeforegoingtobed.homeeconomicslessons家事經濟課家庭經濟課，非常準確地闡釋了芬蘭的教育理念，那就是堅持讓學生在體驗式場景中學習抽象的理論概念，讓學生真正“做中學”。學生在家庭、學校、社會中都是積極參與者芬蘭學生不是只負責讀書，他還要深度參與到家庭生活、社會公民生活中去，活動在家庭、學校、社會三者交互的場域內。很難想象，如果沒有家庭的深度參與，學生如何在學校完成這樣一個“家庭經濟課”。首先，學生作為家庭成員，通過學習家庭經濟課，能自我照顧、分擔家務、還懂得照顧其他人。這門課與我們強調的“要有照顧他人的意圖、心意”不同，它更偏重于訓練學生照顧他人的技能，比如有能力為家人做一頓飯、做一個蛋糕慶祝爸爸生日、挑選媽媽喜歡的Iittala或Marimekko餐具。讓孩子真正成為家庭活動的積極參與者。其次，學生作為學校集體生活的一員，在互動情境下，能與他人分工和合作；能批判性地處理信息，并能計劃、組織、操作、管理自己手上的資源。當我看到男生從小戴上圍裙，揮舞鏟刀，炒菜煮飯，烘焙點心，就真的理解芬蘭男女平等的社會觀念，讓男人分擔家務，真的是從小做起。當每個家庭內部做到男女平等，整個國家才能真正實現男女社會地位的平等。
