IABSTRACTAgainstthebackdropofglobalcompetition,thetransmissionofculturalvaluesassociatedwithgeographicalindication(GI)productshasemergedasapivotalissueininternationaltrade.ThisstudyexaminesQimenBlackTea,aChinesenationalGIproduct,asacasestudytoinvestigatethechallengesandpotentialsolutionsincross-culturalcommunicationofGIteaproductinformationthroughananalysisofitstranslationpracticesincommercialadvertising.AdoptinganintegratedtheoreticalframeworkcombiningSkoposTheoryandtheThreeBeautiesPrinciple,thisresearchemploysacasestudymethodologytosystematicallyanalyzeadvertisingmaterialsfromsourcesincludingtheofficialQimenTeaIndustrywebsiteandAmazonproductpages.Thefindingsrevealthreemajordeficienciesincurrenttranslationpractices:(1)excessiveexplicitationoflegalterminology,(2)inadequateculturalcompensation,(3)diminishedrepresentationofhistoricalvalue.BasedonexistingEnglishtranslationsofQimenBlackTeaproductinformation,thisstudyproposesthreestrategicsolutions:First,establishingacomplianceframeworkthroughcompletestatutorylabelingandenhancedinternationalcertification;second,achievingculturalequivalencethroughadual-trackapproachcombiningphoneticannotationwithterminologicalannotationandrevision;third,reconstructingvaluenarrativesthroughembeddedhistoricalannotationsandbiculturalpositioning.ThesefindingsofferpracticalinsightsfortheinternationalpromotionofGIteaproducts.Keywords:advertisingtranslation,KeemunBlackTea,Skopostheory,threebeautiesprinciple,cross-culturalperspective
