1、 洛陽牡丹花會，全國四大名會之一，始于1983年，已經(jīng)成功舉辦29屆。2010年11月，經(jīng)文化部正式批準，洛陽牡丹花會升格為國家級節(jié)會，更名為“中國洛陽牡丹文化節(jié)”，由文化部和河南省人民政府主辦。在洛陽中國國花園，牡丹綿延數(shù)公里，或怒放、或含苞，喜迎四方賓朋，節(jié)會持續(xù)一個多月。2011年第29屆洛陽牡丹文化節(jié)在北京市和上海市同時設分會場，舉辦豐富多彩的節(jié)會活動。 1982年9月21日,洛陽市人大常委會通過決議，將牡丹花作為洛陽市“市花”，每年根據(jù)牡丹開放情況于4月某日至5月某日舉辦洛陽牡丹花會。從1983年至今（2011年），洛陽已連續(xù)成功地舉辦了29屆牡丹花會。二十多年來,市委、市政府堅持貫
