2、ump.Drawingbackafewpaces,herantowardsthevineandtookagreatbigleap,butmissedtheGrapes.Turingaround,hejumpedagain.Thistimetoo,withnosuccess.TheFoxtriedtojumpfortheGrapesagainandagainandyetagainandagain,invain.Sincehecouldnotreachthedelicious-lookingGrapes,theFoxfinallyconcluded,“TheseGrapesmustbesour!”

3、andwalkedawaywithhisnoseintheair,throughhotterandeventhirstierthanbefore!狐貍與葡萄夏季炎熱的一天,一只狐貍看見葡萄藤上掛著一串串晶瑩剔透的葡萄。天確實很熱,狐貍渴得找東西喝?!斑@些葡萄正是我要解渴的東西!”狐貍說。但葡萄藤太高,即使狐貍伸長了脖子也夠不著。因此他決定跳一跳。狐貍后退了幾步,朝著葡萄藤跑過去并猛烈地跳起來,然而他沒有夠著葡萄。狐貍轉(zhuǎn)過身又跳了一次,但同樣沒有成功。狐貍一次一次地跳起來夠葡萄,然而一次一次地失敗告終。既然他夠不著可口的葡萄,狐貍最后總結(jié)道:“這些葡萄肯定很酸!”雖然他比剛才更熱更渴,但他非常高

6、andcoldinthewind,seemedtosuddenlygrowashadegloomier.兩只罐子從前,河中漂著兩只罐子。一只在陽光下閃閃發(fā)光,另一只卻因浸了河水兒顯得沉悶、難看。這是因為一只罐子是用黃銅做成的,而另一只罐子由陶土做成的緣故?!罢埐灰拷遥 碧展迣︺~罐說?!盀槭裁?我們可以成為朋友?!便~罐說?!安恍?,”陶罐回答,“我太脆,你只要碰我一下,我就會成為碎片。我必須遠(yuǎn)離你,想都不敢想成為你的朋友。請離開我,你可以在下游找到跟你一樣的人去玩!”銅罐又失望又傷心,隨后被河水沖著,漂到了河岸的另一角;而陶罐在風(fēng)中又冷又濕,看上去忽然更加灰暗。TheFoxWhoHadLost

8、visedthemtocutofftheirtails.Hesaidthattheywouldnotonlylookmuchbetterwithoutthem,buttheywouldgetridoftheweightofthebrush,whichwasaverygreatinconvenience.Oneoftheminterruptedhimandsaid,“Ifyouhadnotyourselflostyourtail,myfriend,youwouldnotthusadviseus.”斷尾的狐貍一只狐貍被捕獸器夾住,雖然成功地逃脫了,卻因此丟掉了尾巴。有了這次奇恥大辱,他覺得自己臉上

9、無光,生活得很累,所以他計劃說服其他的狐貍,讓他們相信沒有尾巴更有魅力,以此彌補自己失去的尾巴。他將許多狐貍召集到一起,公開建議大家砍掉尾巴。他說這樣一來不僅更加雅觀,而且使他們擺脫了那個一點兒也不方便的笨重刷子。有只狐貍打斷他的話說:“朋友,如果你自己沒有失去尾巴的話,你就不會這樣規(guī)勸我們了?!盩heLionandtheMouse獅子與報恩的老鼠ALIONwasawakenedfromsleepbyaMouserunningoverhisface.Risingupangrily,hecaughthimandwasabouttokillhim,whentheMousepiteouslyentr

11、idiculedtheideaofmyeverbeingabletohelpyou,expectingtoreceivefrommeanyrepaymentofyourfavor;nowyouknowthatitispossibleforevenaMousetoconbenefitsonaLion."獅子睡著了,有只老鼠跳到了他身上。獅子猛然站起來,把他抓住,準(zhǔn)備吃掉。老鼠請求饒命,并說如果保住性命,必將報恩,獅子輕蔑地笑了笑,便把他放走了。不久,獅子真的被老鼠救了性命。原來獅子被一個獵人抓獲,并用繩索把他捆在一棵樹上。老鼠聽到了他的哀嚎,走過去咬斷繩索,放走了獅子,并說:“你當(dāng)時嘲
