1、本篇獻(xiàn)給有一定英語基礎(chǔ),卻新托福中寫作得不了高分的同學(xué)。2015 年 5 月 16 日的托福只有 24 分(我原來那純正的作文得了滿分,總分 113 分,閱讀滿分,29,其中口語是中,弱項(xiàng),口音都哪兒去了?)大家對(duì)作文成績應(yīng)該是最感的,獻(xiàn)丑說幾句。正式開始之前,先跟大家簡(jiǎn)單介紹一下新托福吧,英文名 TOEFL(the Test of English as a Foreign Language)。滿分 120 分,共分閱讀、口語和寫作四項(xiàng),每項(xiàng)滿分 30 分,機(jī)考。作文有兩篇:綜合作文和獨(dú)立作文。我平時(shí)有用英語記還有閱讀英文小說的,因此積累起來的詞匯比較多一些。說這一些都是扯淡,因?yàn)?,大家的備?/p>
2、時(shí)間都這么緊張,現(xiàn)在再去看小說或者寫什么的有個(gè)卵用?!所以,我要教給大家的作文秘訣就是:模板。大家千萬不要懷疑這種套路似的模板,不止我得了滿分,我給了其他人后,他們的托福作文最低現(xiàn)在是 27,滿分的比比皆是。1.廢話不多說,我先以綜合作文為例,就是文章與材料結(jié)合起來寫的那篇。大家一定要注意,寫這篇的時(shí)候,聽懂材料是第一步,在此之前,讀懂那篇 passage 更為關(guān)鍵。大家都知道,中的內(nèi)容百分之百是和 passage 中的觀點(diǎn)對(duì)立的,讀懂了后者,有時(shí)候你甚至能猜出授會(huì)說什么。中的教寫的時(shí)候,一定要重點(diǎn)突出教授的觀點(diǎn),也就是描述材料的句子要多,描述 passage 材料的就一帶而過。整片文章的字?jǐn)?shù)
3、是越多越好(前提是你得保證在規(guī)定時(shí)間里你能夠?qū)懲辏?。我來給大家簡(jiǎn)單寫個(gè)框架,以 5 月 16 日當(dāng)天的題目為例,passage 大體講的是新產(chǎn)品的推出對(duì)公司發(fā)展很有幫助,材料里argue,新產(chǎn)品對(duì)公司發(fā)展沒有卵用,甚至還會(huì)阻礙公司發(fā)展。第一步,起個(gè)題目,一般我都是所有字母都用大寫,就算湊字?jǐn)?shù)吧題目是:WHETHER THE NEW PRODUCT ISBENEFIL FOR THE DEFELOPMENT OF A COMPANY文章開頭(第一段)我一般都用這一句:Onthe basis of what I have heard from the listening material and
4、read from thepassage, I can clearlyltl 什么呢?這個(gè)l 是分辨的意思,就是我能分辨出 the speaker is mainlydiscussingt+的內(nèi)容。接下來非常非常關(guān)鍵,也是我覺得我作文得高分的最主要原因。就是我在這里就把Speaker 的論據(jù)簡(jiǎn)單列出來了。以 16 日的題目為例,這句話是這樣的On the basis of what I have heard from thelistening material and read from the passage, I can clearlyltthespeaker is mainly disc
5、ussing the infeasibility of the ways mentionedhepassage to push forward a sucsfulcompany to grow continuouslyin consideration of the bad feelings of the old customers brought by the newverof a product, thesibilityt a company spelizing in a product may screw up the wholeion caused by cooperating with
6、thing once changing her business line and the bad repuother companies.t strongly challenges the poof views held by thenarrator. Followed are the three aspectswhere the two materials diverge fromeach other.這是文章的第一段,翻譯一下就是:依據(jù)我從材料中所聽到的,已章中讀到的,我能清晰地分辨出教授主要談?wù)撌强紤]到一種產(chǎn)品的新版本對(duì)老顧客帶來的不良體驗(yàn),改變生產(chǎn)領(lǐng)域會(huì)搞砸一切還有與其他公司合作所的
7、名聲變?cè)愕葐栴},會(huì)使這些方法變得極為不可行。(加粗部分就是材料的簡(jiǎn)單論點(diǎn),不用展開說,否則第一段就成了整片文章了。)這對(duì) narrato(r passage 的作者,主語要時(shí)常變換,比如可以用 reading passage, writer還有 reading material 或者 passage)所持有的觀點(diǎn)是極力的。以下就是這兩篇材料難以達(dá)成一致的地方。注意:我用句子喜歡用比較復(fù)雜的,大家可用些簡(jiǎn)單句,表達(dá)出意思來就好。然后就把論據(jù)都展開說了第一個(gè)論據(jù)(第二段):以材料中的為主,To begin with, it is argued by the professort這里不展開寫了,第一
8、個(gè)論據(jù)是一種產(chǎn)品的新版本對(duì)老顧客帶來的不良體驗(yàn),比如老顧客看到新版本會(huì)覺得自己過時(shí)了,然后就會(huì)對(duì)新版本持有偏見(這里我用了一個(gè)詞組hold prejudice against)最后連老版本都不買了。顧客都不買東西了,賺個(gè)毛線錢啊?如果中提到了例子,把例子也寫出來。好了,材料說的差不多了,話鋒一轉(zhuǎn),要用體現(xiàn)出轉(zhuǎn)折的詞組如 on the contrary, in contrast 還有 on the other hand,不建議用 however 或 but,因?yàn)椴伙@眼,也不利于湊字?jǐn)?shù)。話鋒一轉(zhuǎn),開始說文章中的觀點(diǎn),一句話帶過,不用舉列子。第二個(gè)論據(jù)(第三段):Second of all, the
9、 professor makes內(nèi)容就可以了。話鋒一轉(zhuǎn),一筆帶過passage 中的觀點(diǎn)。t pot后面還是和第一個(gè)論據(jù)一致,換換2.再說獨(dú)立作文題目:when people spend a lot of time watching sports onevior following their favorite team,is negative effects on their lives? Do you agree or disagreet? Please這個(gè)更好寫了,這種 agree 或 disagree,一定要選一個(gè)照死了寫,要么全盤同意,要么全盤否定,別想著用 主義哲學(xué)辯證唯物論一分為
10、二的 問題,要是你 ,沒有重點(diǎn),那么你的分?jǐn)?shù)也就一分為二了。這種題目沒有觀點(diǎn)對(duì)錯(cuò),你能說出道理支持你的觀點(diǎn),那就是好的。文章開頭(第一段)he contemporary society, there is a theory arguingt +把題目換一種說法寫出來,別照抄,那樣顯得很沒料。然后寫,this idea has triggered public concerns and the debate over is been heating up.這句純屬湊字?jǐn)?shù)的。有沒有引起激烈誰知道???After serious consideration(其實(shí)沒有經(jīng)過認(rèn)真考慮,感覺哪個(gè)好寫就寫哪個(gè))
11、, I totally/absoluy vote for the poof view.然后關(guān)鍵又來了,on account of the lacking of rest due to staying up to watch sports, the bad mood someone may get involved in and the deteriorating relationship betn people and their family members.由于熬夜看比賽導(dǎo)致缺覺,可能陷入不良情緒中以及人們與家人之間關(guān)系的,我完全贊成這一觀點(diǎn)。像綜合作文一樣,的論據(jù)在第一段中簡(jiǎn)單一列,下面
12、展開的時(shí)候圍繞著寫就行了。第一段最后再來一句 Next I will be listing thereasons in support of my arguments.第一個(gè)論據(jù)(第二段): heplace, there is no denyingt watching sports leads to the reduction of the time people spend on rest or sleep. As a result, they will feel extremely distracted, sleepy and absent-minded next第三個(gè)論據(jù)(第四段):Fu
13、rthermore(這個(gè)詞不錯(cuò))后面參照上面兩段,話鋒一轉(zhuǎn),一筆帶過文章中的觀點(diǎn)。結(jié)尾(第五段):To summarize 或 In summary(用這個(gè),summarize 比較容易拼錯(cuò))最后一段也很簡(jiǎn)單,我一般寫 The poof views mentionedhe reading material are jeopardized(這個(gè)詞要用到) by the professor while the speaker is compley oped of what is beved by the writer. be compley oped of 是完全的意思??偨Y(jié)一下綜合作文的寫法:分
14、 5 段,第一段開頭(論據(jù)要簡(jiǎn)單列出哦)第二段展開寫第一個(gè)論據(jù),第三段展開寫第二個(gè)論據(jù),第四段展開寫第三個(gè)論據(jù)。最后一段總結(jié)。以材料為主,通篇文章我大約寫到 450 至 470 字之間。day when they go to work. Whats worse ist some huge mistakes may be made.前面這幾句是觀點(diǎn),后面一點(diǎn)要舉出列子(例子可以隨便編,相信我,ETS 改作文的不會(huì)閑得去查這些例子的真實(shí)性,出分都弄得他們焦頭爛額,再去查這個(gè),非累死這幫孫子)It reminds me of an exlet matches my idea to the fulle
15、st extent.我舉得例子是有些在其他國家舉辦的奧運(yùn)會(huì)、或者歐洲杯由于時(shí)差原因,都是的半夜踢,人們得熬夜看球,本來用來睡覺的時(shí)間卻強(qiáng)打著精神看球去了,第二天有精神才怪。我一個(gè)叫 Jack(隨便編個(gè)名字)的朋友就因?yàn)榘疽箍辞虻诙彀沿?cái)務(wù)的帳給算錯(cuò)了,直接讓公司了。這不就是看體育比賽給人們生活帶來的影響嗎?第二個(gè)論據(jù)(第三段):Secondly, as we all know, people are easilyexed to the effect of their mood, under somecircumstance with which the performanof the team
16、 they support are closely linked.眾所周知,人類是情緒動(dòng)物,在某些情況下,他們所支持的球隊(duì)的表現(xiàn)和情緒關(guān)。接下來還是例子,大家別總用 for exle,去網(wǎng)上搜一些舉例子的英文說法。To illustrate my po, a football gamehe ChiLeague can be cited as an exle.我舉的例子的甲 A 聯(lián)賽,這個(gè)不是我編的,是真事,有一年,申花被國安灌了個(gè) 9 比 1,一個(gè)的球迷看完球直接把電視機(jī)從自家樓上扔下去了(這是真事)但是,后面的就是我編的了,電視機(jī)了,導(dǎo)致兩人被燒傷(我太邪惡了,總得強(qiáng)調(diào)出事態(tài)的嚴(yán)重性才更有說
17、服力吧)我也是靈光一現(xiàn)想出了這個(gè)例子,大家可以自由發(fā)揮,編一個(gè)也行,比方說英國的足球在球隊(duì)輸球后鬧事兒或者有些人在心愛的球隊(duì)輸球后 奔,搶什么的,越生動(dòng)越好。第三個(gè)論據(jù)(第四段):In addition, watching sports worsens the relationship betn people and their familymembers. The thing is espelly true for husband and wife.體育比賽了人們與家庭成員之間的關(guān)系,尤其是夫妻之間。比如,丈夫要看球,妻子要看甄嬛傳,為了搶電視,倆人對(duì)罵,女的指責(zé)男的,你無情,無理取鬧,男的
18、就問我哪兒無情,哪兒,哪兒無理取鬧?(這句加不加隨便,你要是覺得能翻譯的信達(dá)雅就加上,老外還不笑瘋了給你滿分?)最后倆人搓起來了,夫妻關(guān)系了。結(jié)尾(第五段):Based on whas been discussed above,we may reach a safet +你的觀點(diǎn)。Although 有些人還是認(rèn)為看比賽或支持球隊(duì)能讓自己放松,怎么怎么樣(這個(gè)小讓步絕對(duì)不能少,切記)后面加一句反駁他的,we must admitt watching sports or supporting the favorite team does more harmn good topeople. We a
19、re suped to 合理安排看比賽的時(shí)間,不要癡迷其中,才不會(huì)對(duì)的生活帶來影響??偨Y(jié):獨(dú)立作文也分 5 段,和綜合作文一樣。但是注意,例子絕對(duì)不能省,可以編,都無所謂,第一段要簡(jiǎn)單列一些論據(jù),最后一段要有個(gè)小讓步。3.選的是 TPO 1 中的作文,大家可以自己去 TPO 1 中看一文題目。范文如下,大家可以比對(duì)是不是按照我總結(jié)的模板所寫:綜合作文:WHETHER WORKING FOUR DAYS AK ISITIVE?On the basis of what I have heard from the listening material and read from the passag
