小知識:DTP技術(shù)的產(chǎn)生與發(fā)展

DTP(DesktopPublishing)是1985年山Aldus公司的總裁于蘋果電腦公司的一個會議

上發(fā)表的,他將Macintosh電腦、Aldus的PageMaker排版軟件,以Adobe的PostScript

頁面描述語言,運(yùn)作在AppleLaserWriter印表機(jī)上,合成?個新的出版系統(tǒng),名為桌

上出版(DesktopPublishing),也稱電腦印前設(shè)計。再加上Linotype將PostScript引入

于傳統(tǒng)排版植字機(jī)(Photo-typesetter)上使用,后期發(fā)展成為圖像排版機(jī)(Image

setter),這樣的組合,對印刷業(yè)的前期設(shè)計排版及制版產(chǎn)生了重大的影響。

桌面印前設(shè)計系統(tǒng)主要由圖像輸入系統(tǒng)、圖文設(shè)計與編排系統(tǒng)和輸出系統(tǒng)三大部分組

成。它推棄了傳統(tǒng)的鉛字排版工藝,采用電子出版新工藝,這一變革被人們稱作以

“光與電”取代“鉛與火”。DTP技術(shù)的發(fā)展極大地提高了印刷品(特別是彩色印刷

品)設(shè)計的工藝水準(zhǔn)和制作效率,促進(jìn)了信息的傳播和生產(chǎn)的發(fā)展。

如今,DTP已廣泛應(yīng)用于印刷出版業(yè),在技術(shù)更新迅速的廣告業(yè)更是深入人心。印刷

類廣告是平面廣告的主要形式,比如報刊雜志廣告、招貼廣告、郵寄廣告、售點(diǎn)廣

告、廣告宣傳冊等等。其設(shè)計與制作都離不開電腦印前設(shè)計DTP技術(shù)。
