1.Analysisoftheteachingmaterial

First,letstalkabouttheanalysisoftheteachingmaterial.ThislessonischosenfromthefirstbookofPEPEnglish,Grade8,Unit2.Itisalisteningandspeakinglesson.Afterthislesson,studentswillknowhowtoe*presshowoftentheydosomethingandtheirfavoriteactivity.Whatsmore,theirconfidenceandspeakingabilitywillbeimproved.

2.Analysisofthestudents

Then,itcomestotheanalysisofstudents.TheyareinGrade8andhavelearnedEnglishforseveralyears,thereforetheyhavesomebasicknowledgeaboutthesentencepattern.However,theirspeakingEnglisharenotsowell.SoteachersshouldcreatechancesforthemtopracticetheiroralEnglishasmuchaspossible.

Studentscanimprovetheirspeakingabilitybypairworkandroleplay.

Emotionalaims:

Studentswillknowhowtoe*presshowtoe*presshowoftentheydosomethingandtheirfavoriteactivity.

Picturesareusefultoolsforattractingstudentsattentionanddescribingthenewwordsandphrases.Byusingpicturesandaskingquestions,Icaneasilyattractstudentsattentionandleadinthetopicofthislesson.

Step2:pre-listening.

Inthispart,studentswilllearnsomenewphrases:readEnglishbooks,usetheInternet,gotothemovies.

Byshowingpicturesandusingthesentencepattern"Howoftendoyou'withthesenewphrases,studentscanmasterthepronunciationandmeaningofthesenewphrases,aswellasthesentencepattern,thuscreateabetterfoundationforthene*tstepwhile-listening.

Step3:while-listening.
