ThisstandardreplacesQB/T1224-2007Liquiddetergentforfabricinwhole.

ThefollowingisthemaintechnicalmodificationsincomparisontotheQB/T1224-2007.

—Therequirementforthetotalamountofactivegradient(s)inconventionalliquiddetergenthasbeenmodified.—TheliquiddetergentconcentrationforpHmeasurementhasbeenmodified.

Liquiddetergentforfabric

1.Scope

Thisstandardspecifiesthetermsanddefinitions,productclassificationandmarking,requirements,test

methods,inspectionrules,labeling,packaging,transport,storageandshelflifeforliquiddetergentforfabrics.Thisstandardisapplicabletotheliquiddetergentproductsthatareformulatedwithvarioussurfactantsand

auxiliaryagentsforcleaningfabrics(notapplicabletonon-water-washableproducts).

ThefollowingreferenceddocumentsareindispensablefortheapplicationofthisStandard.Fordatedreference,onlythedatededitioncitedapplies.Forundatedreference,thelatesteditionofthereferenceddocument

3.Termsanddefinitions

Thefollowingtermsanddefinitionsapplytothisdocument.

3.1

liquidlaundrydetergent

thecleaningproductofcertaindecontaminationabilitywithwaterasmatrix;generallyusedforwashingvariouswovenfabricsandknittedfabrics,etc.

3.2

silk&wooldetergent

thecleaningproductofcertaindecontaminationabilitywithwaterasmatrix;generallyusedforwashingsilkfabrics,feather-filledproducts,woolfabrics,andvelvetfabrics,etc.

3.3

collar&cuffpre-detergent

thecleaningproductofcertaindecontaminationabilitywithwaterorthemixtureofwaterandorganicsolventas

matrix(excludinghydrophobictype);generallyusedforpre-cleaningthelocalizedheavystainsonpartslikecollarandcuffsbeforewashingthewholeclothorfabrics.

3.4

structuredlaundrydetergent

beingaliquidlaundrydetergentofspecialinternalconfiguration,theproductexhibitshomologousandthickliquidappearance,withinternalsurfactantsregularlyaggregatingintocrystalconfigurationanduniformlydispersingincontinuousaqueousphase,andtheauxiliaryagentssuchassodiumtripolyphosphate,4Azeoliteand

polycarboxylatestablysuspendinginthesystem.Insuchproduct,thesolidcontentshallnotbelessthan40%,andthetotalnon-surfactantauxiliaryagentsshallnotbelessthan20%.

4.Productclassificationandmark

4.1Productclassification

Accordingtothetargetedfabrics,theproductsareclassifiedintothreecategoriesandtwotypes,namely:

liquidlaundrydetergent(conventionaltypeandconcentratedtype),silk&wooldetergent(conventionaltypeandconcentratedtype),andcollar&cuffpre-detergent.

4.2Productmark

Theconventionalproductmaybedirectlymarkedbyfollowingthisstandard,andtheconcentratedproductshallbemarkedwiththeword"concentrated"afterthestandardnumber.

Forexample:

theconcentratedliquidlaundrydetergent(orsilk&wooldetergent)willbemarkedas:QB/T1224-2012(concentratedtype).

Note:Thenameofcommercialproductwillbereadilyinferabletoproduct’scategory.Theyearofthestandardnumbermaybeomittedinthemark.Incaseofsuchomission,thisstandardapplies.Wherethenameofcommercialproductoritsinstructionforuseindicatesproduct’sapplicabilitytoavarietyoffabricsandmorethanonefunctionalfeatures,theproductcategoryshallbe

determinedinaccordancewiththeindicesofhighervaluesasspecifiedinTable1andTable2.Wheretheproducttypeisnotmarked,thetypewillbeinferredfromproductnameandinstructionsforuse.Incasethenameofcommercialproductor

instructionforuseofaproductindicatesconcentratedfeature,theproductfallsintoconcentratedtype(withwordslike

concentrated,highconcentration,ultra-concentration);otherwise,theproductfallsintoconventionaltype.

5Requirements

5.1Basicrequirements

AllrawmaterialsusedfortheliquidlaundrydetergentforfabriccleaningshallbeincompliancewiththespecificationsdesignatedfortheCategoryCproductsinGB/T26396.

5.2Sensory,physical-chemicalandperformanceindices

5.2.1Thesensoryandphysical-chemicalindicesoftheliquiddetergentforfabriccleaningshallsatisfythespecificationsinTable1.

5.3Netcontent

ThenetcontentshallbeincompliancewithspecificationsdesignatedbytheOrderofGeneralAdministrationonQualitySupervision,InspectionandQuarantineofthePeopleRepublicofChina(No.75[2005]).

6Testmethods

Unlessotherwisespecified,allanalysesshallbeperformedwithonlythereagentsofrecognizedanalyticalgradeandthedistilledordeionizedwaterorthewaterofequivalentpurity.

6.1Appearance

Takenolessthan200mlofsample,placeitinadry,cleanandcolorlesswide-mouthglassbottlewithstopper,andobservethesampleunderthenon-directlight.

6.2Odor

Taketheappropriateamountofsampleanddetectodorwithnose.

6.3Stability

Taketwosampleseachofnolessthan100ml,placethemindividuallyin250mlcolorlesswide-mouthglassbottlewithstopper.Placeonesampleinanincubatorat(40±2)°Cfor24h,takeitoutandletitgettoroom

temperature,andmaketheobservation.Placeanothersampleinarefrigeratorat(?5±2)°Cfor24handletitgettoroomtemperature,andmaketheobservation.

6.4Totalactivegradients

Ingeneral,thetotalactivegradientsshallbedeterminedinaccordancewiththeMethodA,Clause7ofGB/T13173-2008.

TheMethodB,Clause7ofGB/T13173-2008shallbeapplicableincasetheproductcontainsinformulathesurfactantcomponentsinsolubleinethanol,orthecommercialcontractstipulateswatersolubilizerbeing

excludedfromtestresultsandthechloroformextractionmethodbeingused.

6.5pH

ThepHshallbedeterminedbyfollowingtheGB/T6368.Thetesttemperatureis25°C.Themass

concentrationis1%ofthesamplesolutionpreparedwithdistilledwaterthatwasfreshlyboiledandcooled;andthemassconcentrationis0.1%ofthesamplesolutionofstructuredlaundrydetergent.Uniformmixingisrequiredbeforeperformingmeasurement.

6.6Totalphosphoruspentoxide

ThetotalphosphoruspentoxideshallbedeterminedbyfollowingtheClause6ofGB/T13173-2008.

6.7Detergency

6.7.1Referenceliquidlaundrydetergent

BeingpreparedbyfollowingtheprocedurespecifiedintheAmendmentNo.1ofGB/T13174-2008.

6.7.2Determinationofdetergency

a)Liquidlaundrydetergentandsilk&wooldetergent:BeingdeterminedbyfollowingtheGB/T13174.

b)Collar&cuffpre-detergent

Pretreatmentoftestcloth:Take3piecesofroundtestclothofJB-01,JB-02,andJB-03,respectively,withthediameterofφ4cmeach.Placeallpiecesofthetestclothwithoverlappingedgesinapetridish(onekindoftestclothinarow).Weigh2.0gofthesampleinabeaker,andadd2mlof250mg/kghardwaterfordilution.AddtheuniformlymixedsamplewithdropperevenlytothetestclothsbyfollowingtheorderofJB-01,JB-02andJB-03,andgentlyflipoverthewholetestclothswithapairoftweezersforthoroughsoaking.The

drippingtimeshallbewithin1minute,andthesoakedtestclothbesetstillfor5minute.Take200mlof250mg/kghardwaterwhichhasbeenheatedto30°C,washcompletelyouttheresidualsampleinthedropper,

beakerandpetridish,andtransferthewash-outalongwiththesoakedtestclothintothewashingcylinder,to

which800mlof250mg/kghardwaterat30°Cisadded.

Simultaneously,conductthesametreatmentontestclothusingthereferenceliquidlaundrydetergentforcomparison.

c)FollowingthemethodspecifiedinGB/T13174todeterminethedetergencyonthetestclothpretreatedinstepb).

6.8Netcontent

ThenetcontentshallbedeterminedbyfollowingtheJJF1070.

TheinspectionshallbeperformedasspecifiedinQB/T2951.
