"Approvalofavehicle"meanstheapprovalofavehicletypewithregardtothemodeofinstallation,graphicaldesign,legibility,colour,andbrightnessofcontrols,telltales,andindicators.“Approvalofavehicle”指機(jī)動(dòng)車輛關(guān)于安裝方式、圖形設(shè)計(jì)、易辨認(rèn)、顏色、操縱件亮度、光信號(hào)、指示器的許可。5SPECIFICATIONS技術(shù)規(guī)范：Avehiclefittedwithacontrol,atell-taleoranindicator,listedintable1,shallmeettheprescribedrequirementsofthisRegulationforthelocation,identification,colour,andilluminationofsuchcontrol,tell-taleorindicator安裝了control、tell-tale、或者indicator的一輛汽車（見(jiàn)表一列表），應(yīng)該符合本規(guī)定關(guān)于這些部件的位置、標(biāo)識(shí)、顏色和照明度的要求規(guī)定。

5.1LOCATION位置：5.1.1. Thecontrolstobeusedbyadriverwhiledrivingthevehicleshallbelocatedsothattheyareoperablebythisdriverundertheconditionsofparagraph5.6.2.駕駛員駕駛車輛的時(shí)候使用的控制器必須安裝，這樣在段落5.6.2.的條件下駕駛員就可以操作控制器了5.1.2. Whereacontrol,anindicatororatell-taleforthesamefunctionarecombined,onesymbolmaybeusedtoidentifysuchcombination.當(dāng)control,anindicatororatell-tale的功能都一樣的，是一個(gè)組合的時(shí)候可以用一個(gè)symbol來(lái)表示這個(gè)組合的。5.2.6. Theidentificationsofcontrolsforwhichtheword"Yes"isindicatedincolumn4oftable1shallbecapableofbeingilluminatedwheneverthepositionlampsareactivated.Thisdoesnotapplytocontrolslocatedonthefloor,floorconsole,steeringwheel,orsteeringcolumn,orintheareaofwindscreenheader,ortocontrolsforaheatingandair-conditioningsystemifthesystemdoesnotdirectairdirectlyuponthewindscreen.當(dāng)positionlamps打開(kāi)時(shí)，在表1第4欄中注明為”Yes”的control的識(shí)別標(biāo)志都能被照亮。這個(gè)不適用于位于地板、地板操縱臺(tái)、方向盤、方向盤管柱、前風(fēng)擋header區(qū)域或的操控件，也不適用于不直接向擋風(fēng)玻璃噴射氣體的加熱空調(diào)系統(tǒng)的控制件5.3.2. Theindicators,theiridentificationsandtheidentificationsofcontrolsneednotbeilluminatedwhentheheadlampsarebeingflashedoroperatedasdaytimerunninglamps.當(dāng)大燈用作閃光或者作為日間行駛燈，Theindicators,theiridentificationsandtheidentificationsofcontrols不需要燈光。5.3.4. Atthemanufacturer'sdiscretionanycontrol,indicatorortheiridentificationsmaybecapableofbeingilluminatedatanytime.由制造商自由決定在任何時(shí)候，任何control,indicatorortheiridentifications可以有背光的能力。5.3.5. Atell-taleshallnotemitlightexceptwhenidentifyingthemalfunctionorvehicleconditionforwhoseindicationitisdesignedorduringabulbcheck.Tell-tale這個(gè)設(shè)計(jì)不可以發(fā)光，除非在標(biāo)示故障或汽車狀況，或者在檢查燈泡時(shí)。5.3.6. BrightnessofTell-TaleIlluminationMeansshallbeprovidedformakingtell-talesandtheiridentificationvisibleandrecognisabletothedriverunderalldrivingconditions意思是在所有的駕駛狀態(tài)下，Tell-Tale的背光亮度必須使駕駛員可以明顯的辨別tell-talesandtheiridentification5.4COLOUR顏色：5.4.1. Lightofeachtell-talelistedintable1shallbeofthecolourshownincolumn5ofthistable.表1清單里列5里有每個(gè)tell-tale的燈光顏色5.4.1.1. Neverthelessifalreadyfittedonthevehicleasspecifiedintable1withthecolourspecificationofcolumn5,eachsymbolwiththefootnote18/maybeshowninothercolours,inordertoconveydifferentmeanings,accordingtothegeneralcolourcodingasproposedinparagraph5.ofstandardISO2575:2004[R121s2-11].不過(guò)，如果已經(jīng)按照表1列5里的顏色說(shuō)明在車輛上安裝的tell-tale，每個(gè)有注釋的symbol可以用其他顏色來(lái)表示，根據(jù)第五段里ISO2575:2004[R121s2-11]標(biāo)準(zhǔn)提供的通用顏色編碼，來(lái)表達(dá)不同的意義。5.4COLOUR顏色：5.4.2. Indicatorsandtell-talesandidentificationsofindicatorsandcontrolsnotlistedintable1maybeofanycolourchosenbythemanufacturer,however,suchcolourmustnotinterferewithormasktheidentificationofanytell-tale,control,orindicatorspecifiedintable1.Thecolourtobeselectedshallfollowtheguidelinesspecifiedinparagraph5ofstandardISO2575:2000.不在表1清單里的Indicatorsandtell-talesandidentificationsofindicatorsandcontrols，制造商也許可以選擇任何顏色，但是，所選擇的顏色不可以干擾或者掩蓋表1里的identificationofanytell-tale,control,orindicator。所選擇的顏色應(yīng)該符合paragraph5ofstandardISO2575:2000.中的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)5.4.3.
