Make it clear when and where the meeting will be held. Give
3、notice to the participants by memo, phone or letter.,so the participants can well prepare for the meeting beforehand,Preparation,Invitation (e-mail or phone call) e.g. E-mail Subject:Sales Meeting Beijing 11 July 2007; Reason: We need to finalize the next product launch(產(chǎn)品發(fā)布). Suggestion: We should
4、have a meeting before the Shanghai fair(交易會) in July. How about June 21? Options: If the date mentioned isnt possible for you, please suggest an alternative(替代選擇) in that week.,e.g. Thank you for the email. Ill go to your office to discuss the issue at 3 oclock on June 21st. Thank for the invitation

OK, everybody, we seem to be complete(完整的). Can we get started? Meeting with clients e.g. OK, if you like, we can start now. International meet
9、ing e.g. Since the majority(大部分) of the required number is present, the meeting is formally declared(宣布) to be convened(召開).,Set the objective (目標(biāo)) e.g. The purpose of this plenary session(全體大會) is to make a general review(總復(fù)習(xí)) of our activities during this past year, and to propose(提出) new plans fo

Mr. Wallace, could you start the ball r
12、olling(開始發(fā)言)? (ask for opinions) Mr. Wallace: Yes. I think one of the main causes of the poor U.S. sales of the original EBP was our advertising strategy.(give opinions) In my opinion, we should put the new product into market as soon as possible.,Mr. Ivans: I cant agree with you (disagree), because
13、 we used the same agency for both the Japanese and U.S campaigns(活動), and the campaigns were very similar, but the response was 40% higher in Japan (clarify, request information). Mr. Wallace: Ill tell you what I think the trouble is. They used visuals and music to convey an overall image, but did n
14、ot say much about the product. Japanese are accustomed to(習(xí)慣于) this type of advertising, but Americans tend to want more information from ads. (give opinion, comment) Mr. Ivans: Well, It sounds reasonable. I understand your point of view. (agree),Mr. Wallace: And I think the historical(歷史的) and cult
15、ural(文化) basis for this difference in advertising is that. Mr. Yang: Can I just come in here?(我能插句話嗎) This is interesting, but lets get back to the main issue. 23、te Participants at the Meeting. Postpone the meeting rather than holding a meeting without critical staff members. 為了提高會議決策效率,需要確保會議關(guān)鍵人員到場。 2. Involve Each Participant in Actions. This ensures that each participant is involved in the topic of the meeting and in the follow-up. Youll accomplish more r
24、esults with the whole team pulling than with one dominant staff person trying to push everyone else up the hill. 調(diào)動所有人的積極性,確保每個與會者都在獻計獻策。 3. Be a referee(裁判員) and employ a time-keeper. Have one person in the meeting be the time-keeper so you can focus on facilitating, summarizing, clarifying, and ju
