推理題是在掌握文章大意基礎(chǔ)上看出作者的“言外之意”(betweenthelines)。這既要求學(xué)生透過文章表面文字信息推測隱含意思,又要求學(xué)生對作者的態(tài)度、意圖及文章細(xì)節(jié)的發(fā)展作正確的推理判斷,有些推斷題要從文章結(jié)構(gòu)的角度進(jìn)行分析,才能推斷出正確答案。因此,閱讀時不僅要注重詞、句的理解,而且還要分析語篇的組織結(jié)構(gòu)。這類試題常以如下句式發(fā)問:Whatcanyouinfer/learn/concludefromthepassage?What’stheauthor’sattitudetoward……?Whatdoesthepassagesuggest?Theauthorinthispassageintendsto__________。答推理題時,一般無法直接從文中找到答案,但絕不可憑空猜測,也要找到答題依據(jù)。要通過文章主旨、字里行間或文中例子進(jìn)行推斷,通過含有感情色彩或描述情景的詞句來領(lǐng)會作者的態(tài)度或語氣,有的題也可根據(jù)常識理解來推斷。但無論怎樣,推理判斷要以作者態(tài)度為準(zhǔn),力求從作者的角度去考慮,不要固守自己的看法或觀點(diǎn)。如本文的第28小題28.Whatcanyouinferfromthepassage?A.Theapplianceofthenewpanelisstillunderresearch.
