西洋人究竟近乎白癡，什么事都只講究腳踏實(shí)地去做，這樣費(fèi)力氣的

勾當(dāng)，我們聰明的中國(guó)人，簡(jiǎn)直連牙齒都要笑掉了。西洋人什么事都

講究按部就班地慢慢動(dòng)作來(lái)，從來(lái)沒(méi)有平地登天的捷徑，而我們中國(guó)

人專走捷徑，而走捷徑的第一個(gè)法門，就是吹牛。

吹牛是一件不可看輕的藝術(shù)，就如修辭學(xué)上不可缺少“張喻”一類的東

西一樣。像李太白什么“黃河之水天上來(lái)”，又是什么“白發(fā)三千丈”，

這在修辭學(xué)上就叫做“張喻”，而在不懂修辭學(xué)的人看來(lái)，就覺(jué)得李太

白在吹牛了。

我想那是五月的一個(gè)周日的早晨；那天是復(fù)活節(jié)，一個(gè)大清早上。我

站在自家小屋的門口。就在我的面前展現(xiàn)出了那么一番景色，從我那

規(guī)則和新約束的奴隸。生活并沒(méi)有比以前更自由、更幸福，因?yàn)樗麄?/p>

要去承擔(dān)新的責(zé)任。既然成立了一個(gè)新的家庭，那就無(wú)論如何也要盡

一點(diǎn)家庭的義務(wù)。他們深情地回想起訂婚的那段時(shí)光，曾經(jīng)如此地渴

望擁有彼此而忘掉這個(gè)世界,然而現(xiàn)在最深切的感受卻是自己仍是這

個(gè)世界的一份子。

了眾所周知的諸多方面，恐怕還在于人有內(nèi)心世界。心不過(guò)是人的一

個(gè)重要臟器，而內(nèi)心世界是一種景觀，它是由外部世界不斷地作用于
