2、the end, cut, respect, succeed, sick, in order to, introduce理解下列單詞和詞組:injured, First World War, local, paragraph語 音能夠正確掌握語句重音。語言技能目標聽能夠聽懂以“英雄”為話題的對話以及對英雄人物的描述。說能夠淡淪自己喜愛的英雄人物。讀能夠根據相關信息預測閱讀文章內容并了解白求恩醫(yī)生的生平和事跡。寫能夠描寫自己心目中的英雄人物。演示與表達能夠向他人介紹自己心目中的英雄人物。學習策略自學策略能夠通過各種渠道更多地了解英雄人物。合作學習策略能夠與同學交流自已心目中英雄的生平和事跡。文化
3、意識主動了解世界各地有關英雄人物的相關信息。情感態(tài)度學習英雄人物的優(yōu)秀品格,激發(fā)努力學習的高昂斗志。任 務能夠筆頭介紹自己心目中的英雄人物。教學內容分析 本模塊圍繞“英雄”這一話題,開展聽、說、讀、寫活動。語法重點是學習和操練由so,so that和because引導的狀語從句。語言技能和語言知識都是圍繞“英雄人物”這一中心話題而展開的。通過對英雄人物的了解,培養(yǎng)學生愛英雄、學英雄、爭做英雄的好品質,并激勵自己發(fā)奮學習,做有用人才。教學過程建議Unit 3 Language in use課型:Revision and application方法:Formal instruction, gram

5、cause和so that引導的狀語從句的用法。在第三單元中,活動14都是針對該用法的控制性練習。在課堂教學中,教師可以對這幾個活動進行取舍,也可以結合自己班級的情況做相應的調整。1. Match the two parts of the sentences(Activity 1)說明:本活動訓練的是由so和so that引導的狀語從句的用法,要求根據閱讀課文,將主句和從句用so或so that連接。拓展:1)完成句子。 He put his glasses on so that _.(he could read the notice; he could see clearly) I was

Write sentences(Activity 2)分析:本活動要求學生通過使用because和so that進行連詞組句。建議:還可以通過問答形式完成該練習。例如:-Why do we respect him?-Because he helped many people.-Why did she dress as a man?-She dressed as a

Ask and answer questions(Activity 3)分析:該活動通過回答由why引導的句子,繼續(xù)操練so that和because引導的狀語從句的用法。建議:活動3控制性練習完成之后,可以放手讓學生來進行非控制性練習。開展雙人活動,仿照活動3進行互問互答。例如:-Why did he have an accident?-Because he drove too fast.-Why did you phone?-I phoned so that I could talk to you.-Why

Complete the passage(Activity 4)目的:該練習通過閱讀語篇,綜合操練由so,so that和because引導的狀語從句。建議1:全班核對答案之后,大聲朗讀該短文。加深對由so,so that和because引導的狀語從句的用法。建議2:開展雙人活動,就短文內容進行問答練習,如:-Why did Norman Bethune start hospitals?- He started hosp
10、itals so that doctors and nurses could be trained.-Why did he cut his hand ?-He cut his hand because he was working quickly.Workbook使用建議使用活動4。5. Helen Keller (1880- 1968)She was a US author and public speaker who became blind and deaf at the age of 19 months. Anne Sullivan became her teacher in 1887 and taught her to read, write, use sign langua
15、ge and speak. Keller received degree from Radcliffe College in 1904 and spent the rest of her life encouraging others with difficulties like hers to overcome them. Her books include The story of My Life (1902) and Out of the Dark (1913). Her life was the subject of the play The Miracle Worker.2. Pri
16、ncess Diana (1961 - 1997)She was the former wife of Prince Charles and the mother of Prince William and Prince Henry. She was married to Prince Charles in St Pauls Cathedral in 1981 and soon became the most popular member of the royal family, often referred to informally as Di. However, the marriage

Although Princess Diana gave up her public duties and was divorced in 1996, she continued some of her work with charities and remained an object of intense interest to the press and the public.
